    I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction..

    There is so much functionality provided by geodirectory and their plugins that I am bit overwhelmed.
    I am looking for a map that i can put business listing on with rating functionality and the ability for businesses to claim their business. I like the way whoop looks but can i configure Whoop to have a large map? the preview only shows small maps with each listing. I need people to be able to pick a destination from a large map which will then take them to the expanded business listing. Also, can it be configured to list businesses by category… for example, businesses in a city in a particular state?

    Whoop can have large maps too, it’s all done with widgets, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/

    Thanks for your quick response. I followed all the directions and got the basic map and demo info running but I can’t figure out how to edit anything on the page beyond the width of the columns. I am fairly proficient with wordpress but I can’t seem to edit anything on the GD home page… Like, the length of the map. how do you adjust the size of the map to be longer? are there detailed directions for resizing the map and the general plugin that explains everything or do I need to purchase additional addons to fine tune the maps?

    The map is adjusted in the widget. That is the GD Home Map widget in the GD Home section.
