    Hi guys!

I´m trying to sort listings by featured first and then the package ID or name of the package.

I have different packages. I read this post, which pretty much sums what I´m intending to do, but can´t figure out how to create the sort_options Custom Field.
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/sorting-options-4/#post-490591

I go to settings of the CPT/custom fields and then I don´t know what field to select, text, multiselect, checkbox, select? And then what to do in order for the sorting option to show the most expensive one first, and so on.

Could you guide me here please?

    Thank you!

Thank you Kor, they are sorted by featured first, but within my paid packages I have different price packages and only 2 aré featured.

This is the order I’d like to show them:
    -Premium (featured)
    -Profesional (featured)
    -Basic (paid but NOT FEATURED)
    -Entrepreneour (paid but NOT featured)
    -FREE package

I want to show the most expensive one first, then middle, etc. and finally the Listings published on the free one.

I see that’s posible by the post https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/sorting-options-4/#post-490591 but I Don’t know how to achieve that.

    Could you guide me please?

    Thanks!

    Hi Tania,

Thanks for your reply. Here is how you can achieve this.

    1. Create custom fields for each package type and enable “Include this field in sorting options”

    2. In the sorting options, you can follow the instructions here to reorder the sorting for featured packages https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/featured-listings/#sorting

Could you give it a try?

    Hi Tania,

Thanks for your reply. You can refer to this section of the documentation that explains how to create a custom field https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/custom/ . If you need further assistance, could you share your Website WP admin access here so that I could create an example for you?

Check places for the last field. You can complete the setup with these instructions for a manual sort field.
