    Is there a setting which allows me to assign a field to display within a certain tab?

    Is there a way to show an individual tab content. not as part of a list i want to show the profile tab content to the left of the post images content on the right for example. Just unsure how to access just the photos tab through one of the shortcodes

    You must mean the tabs UI

    Each item on the right side that is left justified is a tab, and each item under it is displayed under that tab.

    The photos tab is merely a gd_post_images shortcode set to “gallery”

    Ok i get it.

    so can i display a single “tab” of content via shortcode?

    No, gd_post_meta displays the value of a single field.

    Usually you use shortcodes in the templates, but, you can also add them to the tabs ui if needed.

    ok i think i get it.

    So will need to basically use the post meta shortcode to build totally custom layouts and any items in the tabs ui are basically nested to make them appear in a certain place.

    Everything that is configured with the tabs UI is shown on the Details template with the gd_single_tabs shortcode.
