    Hi,

    In V1 there was a setting for limiting the number of characters in a listing title.

    Is that setting somewhere in V2?

    Thank you!!

    You can use the Title field advanced settings (blue button) to reveal the validation settings.

    Add a validation rule and adjust it to meet your requirements.

    More detail information is here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/custom/#validation

    Hi again.

    It seems that the validation rule does not apply to Text Area, such as Description. Which is kinda important as I need to have a limit of 400 characters within the description area.

    So, what do you suggest on how I apply the validation .{0}|.{15,400}

    I cannot design a form with just one long text field as that would look silly and the User could not see what he had typed.

    Is there a way around this?

    No, only text fields.

    To limit text in the description field you can use the pricing manager. Edit your price package and set the character limit (make sure to show the advanced settings).
