    Hi all,
    I was not able to traslate in italian the List of fields those appear in advance search. Please see the following link and click on Customize my Search

    in English

    At the following link you can see the
    List of fields those will appear in advance search form on Host and Guest listing and search results page

    Wifi

    I tried to use WPML to traslate the fields without success.

    Please, can you help me?

    I read the documents and I did exactly what i read at the following links,

    but it is still not working.

    I have updated the files geodirectory-it_IT.po and geodirectory-it_IT.mo.
    I found the sentence in the geodirectory-it_IT.po , by using POEDIT.

    but the following Fields of the Advance Search are always in English while I have translated them with success before opening this topic by using WPML in the add listing form

    Hi Giacomo,

    did you see Kiran’s message on your other topic?

    We made it so that from next version custom fields can be translated as strings via WPML too.

    In next version, running GeoDirectory > GD Tools > Load custom fields translation will load all custom fields strings for translation under WPML > String Translation

    what do you mean? will the solution explained in this documents never work?

    Hi Guys,
    WPML sometimes has problems. When we shutdown and restart the server WPML loses some translations and usually we spend 2 days to find and translate the strings again. For this reason, my opinion is that the ideal way to translate is by using FILE .po even though WPML is a fantastic plugin and the WPML support is great.

    Please could you fix the bugs related to CPT fields with po file? could you send me only the php file or group of files where you fix this bug So THAT we can install them?

    alternatively , can you send me the files .php where Kiran fixed the bugs to allow WPML to translate the custom fields of CPT?

    Hi,

    We have asked you many times to update GeoDirectory + GeoDirectory addons, but still you have not updated them. https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/reset-without-any-reason-of-the-fields-of-a-category/page/2/#post-335732

    We have added translation for advance search fields/labels in Advance Search v1.4.6 and your are site is running with 1.4.2. Check this advance search change log https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/advanced-search-filters/?changelog=1 The version 1.4.6 has fix/update related for WPML.

    I have partially updated file for advance search plugin to translate labels and now see http://curiocity.travel/it/host_and_guest/ labels are translated. That’s why we are asking to use/update most recent plugins.

    Your site has too old plugins installed, so updating .php poetically instead of update may break plugins functionality, because each GD plugin is dependable to GD core.

    One more thing, For theme and plugins translation there is setting under WPML -> Theme and plugins localization, that how you want to load translation, either via String Translation or Via .mo files.
    – “Translate the theme and plugins using WPML’s String Translation ” will load translation from WPML > String Translation
    – “Don’t use String Translation to translate the theme and plugins ” will load translation from plugin .mo files

    thank you , you are polite.

    we can not install the new GD core version as I explained in other posts, currently hidden.

    Can I install only the Advance Search v1.4.6 without installing the GD core update?

    You can not update only Advance Search plugin.

    Because Advance Search plugin is dependable on GD core, so updating Advance Search only may break plugin functionality.
