oh… I also tried to set the GD>Design>Home Map Settings – so that it excludes the new category I assigned to the Turkey listing – but this only works on the “home” map.. and my default view is the “listing” map.. so it doesn’t work there 🙁 so I can’t use this.. is there anything I can do? I just want my map to center on the UK and pretend that turkey isn’t there unless they scroll the map over to it

I’m having a similar problem – 99% of my listings are in the UK – but 1 of them is in Turkey – so if I have auto zoom set, it zooms out to include turkey and looks like crap. If I turn off auto zoom – the map centers on Germany thereby showing NONE of my listings.I would like to center my map on the midlands by default. is this possible? Where do I go, or can I go, to set a default latitude and longitude?

L.hm…. i’ve added that to my functions.php in my child theme .. but nothing seems to have happened

yup.. very strange.. this works now.. and the other time.. after I logged in under facebook.. it then switched me over I’m not sure what was happening.. but it’s all good now 🙂

Oh… here’s a new question
I don’t suppose there’s any way to link an event to more than one place?
in this directory, it’s possible for an event to be run by 2 teachers – any chance?

Found it.. yes.. I need to edit the payment types and select link business and link event

oh.. also.. I would like to have all the Events associated with a particular teacher.. be displayed on the Teachers listing .. both ways

So, I’ve got loads and loads of “teachers” entered now, in the Places directory .. and now I’m entering Events – .. and I also have Prices Payment Manager.
so.. how do I link events to teachers? I just can’t figure out how to do it..
Ideally, I’d be able to assign a teacher from the teachers listing to the event so I could add a link to it somehow – so that a person could be viewing the event, and see who the teacher is, and click on the teacher, and be taken to the teacher page
any help really appreciated 🙂

cool.. Guust explained to me that there’s no pagination possible on this front page. That’s ok.. I can certainly work with that 🙂
