Thanks a lot Alex. I had deleted a lot of the canned content when I switched themes and did not have all of the proper widgets loaded.
Your post was extremely helpful, thank you.
I do have one issue in which I’m dealing with, I’m sure it’s pilot error. When I am logged in as admin, the GD widget boxes for the front page show up.
However, when I am logged out or, logged in as a user, they are not showing up?

As for “forcing the mobile version” … That’s just how this themed popped up out of the box. I made a CSS hack to fix the page display, but I’m sure that’s not how I’m supposed to handle it. Is there an adjustment for that? I’m new to Genesis ..
Just installed Genesis 15 minutes before your post. It appears that you are correct … I will finally have to be dragged from the stone-ages of Thesis and move to Genesis …
PS I’m taking some time to play around with the Genesis-Travel theme while you sleep 🙂
If you happen to take this ticket this evening, please switch the theme back to Thesis … there is no child theme to Thesis.

I am trying to get a two column design on the listing page. I have tried changing theme templates, as well as adjusting the short-code
[gd-loop layout=”2″] variable. However it always displays at full width with only a single column.Current Short-code output on GD Archive:
[gd_notifications]
[gd_category_description]
[gd_search]
[gd_loop_actions]
[gd_loop layout=”2″]

Any ideas?

Could you please look at one last thing?
When creating or editing the profile (and I assume other modal functions, I have not tried them all) the image loader modal is acting wonky. When you click to add a photo there is no action on the page, however, if you scroll down you will see the image loader modal.
How can we fix this? Please see attached screen shots.July 19, 2019 at 5:07 pm in reply to: The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site *email #498649RE: From the developer.
“There is no way to fix this in the current version of Thesis (2.9.3).
Thesis uses priority 31 to deliver its menu system in WordPress.Under the current setup, if a Plugin conflicts with this timing, the Plugin’s timing order needs to be modified.
I will likely provide a filter for this in a future version of Thesis, but for now, you should consider manually editing the Plugin files to change menu timing on whatever is causing a conflict.”
Please advise …
July 19, 2019 at 5:03 pm in reply to: The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site *email #498648… I am addressing the menu issue with the theme developer, as I suppose I will with most of the issues, HOWEVER, could you please provide me with relevant information as to specifically what needs to be addressed by them (assuming the other issue are on their end?)
Again, your help is appreciated.

Please check your site *email #498427Thanks for the reply, but when should I expect a reply? We are building a directory for a client who has requested the Thesis theme, and we are within our 30 day return status. If this plugin will not run correctly with Thesis, which it appears not to, we need to move to another script.
