GD Booster will be retired soon, and we recommend you seek out a different cache solution.
We have instructions for the setup of WP Super Cache for use with GDV1.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/wp-super-cache/
GDV2 should work with any cache plugin.
GD Is optimized to make it easy for new visitors to add their listings and make a payment. To make that work optimally, GD Booster was developed for GDV1, but new advances have made it possible to do this with other cache plugins with V2.
Regarding Stiofan’s earlier comment about a CDN, GD Booster does include CDN support. You will need an account to use it. You can find the options inside the GD Booster settings under “CDN”.
Hope that helps
This is possible in GDV1 with the gd_listings shortcode. The recommend way to do it is with categories, to filter by categories, so you would add a special category to the listing, then create a gd_listings shortcode to filter for that category. In GDV1 it can also be done with tags like this:
[gd_listings post_type="gd_myposttype" layout=1 post_number="1" tags="myspecialtag"]Did you select Field Input Type -> Select?
They are probably in the GD Detail page template.
You can post yours here if we need to take a look.
Please make sure to post your V2 related question to the appropriate V2 subforum.
Those are not duplicates, necessarily.
/places/ is a CPT listing page, that will only list gd_places
/location/ is the location page, which can list many different CPTs, not just gd_places.
Location Description can be used for either, and each CPT has a description that can be displayed, plus you will have categories involved and each category+location can be shown.
Location Description
GD – Multilocations – Locations – SEO
Category + Location
Places Categories – Restaurants (edit) Category Top Description (uncheck option to use the same default to reval options for each location)
Great! Thanks for letting us know! 🙂
