A smaller-than-original image to make it faster.
I have flagged your question for the developers who can say more about that.
It should link to https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/design-elements/
It has been updated
All the shortcodes and their parameters are visible in the shortcode builder.
Hello,
there are several different options for search, that is true, but they can’t all be achieved with a single field. The Search For field (on the left) is for titles/description/categories/tags. When autocomplete is enabled it will show listings by title or category. The Near field is for distance searches. A place/location is entered, and results are sorted by distance from that place. These two search function are different, and the near field requires at least some input to have a location from which to measure distance.
You mentioned the CPT selector. You can hide that, but then the search will be restriced to whichever post type you have set to be at the top of the order in GD – Post Types.
1. What do you want to exclude/include? You can hide any and all of the fields, but this will impact the type of search that can be done and so the results shown.
2. Tags are searched in the Search for field.
3. Custom fields (including categories) can be added to the advanced search options drawer. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/advanced-search/
4. Tags cannot be added to the search bar.We are working on issues with theme interoperability as we find them. We will not be recommending any particular themes as far as I know.
GDV2 works with the page template files of a theme as described here: https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/template-files-section/page-template-files/

the near search field must be visible for it to be used. You will need to unhide the field. Once you have done that you can attempt the search and let us know if there is a problem with the results.
November 20, 2018 at 11:08 am in reply to: Possible to change listing icon when listing expires #455145Something like that can be done with the Pricing Manager and price packages.
When a package ia downgraded it is possible to force the listing owner to choose a different category and so a different map icon. This is done by excluding or including categories in a price package.

Hi Ian,
you can change that with custom CSS.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/
Several examples are provided here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/common-styling-examples/#search
Please send a link to the page and we can try to provide an example.
If you need hands on help with designing your directory you can find a GD Expert here:
Please make a new topic.
Open any GD settings page and click the help tab at the top.
That is for the events manager addon.
Is there something we can help you with?
I will flag your question to check on your access.
Thanks
