Hello,
That site is not one of our demos. You can find our demos here:
I think the feature you are pointing out is the the Popular Categories of the Supreme Directory theme. That is a feature of the theme.
You will need to create custom CSS and customize your theme to make the gd_categories shortcode come out looking like that.
If you want to hide the count you will need to add hide_count=”1″ to the shortcode.
Please take a look and let us know if you see additional issues.
GD Booster cache is under the menu item “GD Booster”. The clear cache button is in the top right.
The Search For field (on the left) is for finding listings that contain the search terms in the titles/description/categories/tags.
Last I heard, for searching tags the terms are split up into individual words on each space and then tags are checked for matches on the individual words.
Your best bet is definitely to include the terms you want in title/category/description/tags. I will flag this for the developers to let us know if there is an update about two-word tags search.
This reply has been marked as private.GD Booster is enabled now, I just cleared the cache. The site looks like everything is working. Something we are missing?
Hello,
I have cleared the GD Booster cache, and set it for disabled for the moment.
WP Super Cache may be a better fit for your site, https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/known-issues/#cacheplugins
Please check the page and let us know
GD Home, Location, and Add Listing page content should be replaced completely by GD template render. To add content to those pages you should use widgets instead of adding content to the page content/description. Adding content to the page content area may cause a malfunction.
Hello,
thanks for writing in. There seems to be some confusion, though. The site you referenced is not one of our demos. Our demos are here: https://wpgeo.directory
or GDV2 most styles should be inherited from your theme. If you want to customize your style you can see this page: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/
Check the attached image for an example of how to create custom styles/CSS. As an example you can remove the borders from the location bar with this CSS:
.geodir-loc-bar { border-top: 0px !important; border-bottom: 0px !important; }When GDV2 was installed it should have created some default pages for the Detail, Archive, and Archive item templates. You can find the defaults here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/page-design/
All the shortcodes are available from the shortcode builder. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/shortcode-builder/
If you have questions about a particular shortcode you can let us know and we will try to help you with that.
Hello,
have you tried clearing the GD Booster cache?
If that doesn’t solve it, then please write back with site info in a private reply and we will take a look at the settings.
This reply has been marked as private. One is the location switcher, one is the search bar.
Either one can be used for a near search.
They will both work on Open Street Map. For more info see: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/google/#osm

I checked the site and I see you have set the same page as the WP Front page and as GD Home.
In GDV1, it is not possible to use a builder on the template pages. These include GD Home, Add Listing page, or Location page.
Instead, set a different blank page as GD Home. Then use your builder on the WP Front Page, adding GD shortcodes as you like.
To make the most of GD, then proceed to add widgets to the GD Home widget areas. These widget will then populate the GD Home and Location pages with your listings.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/widgets/If you are really interested in using a builder on GD Pages, you can consider upgrading to GDV2, which allows the use of a builder on the Location and Detail and Listing/Archive pages.
Hi,
Themes that are ready for GDV2 are listed here
https://wpgeodirectory.com/try-geodirectory-v2/
GD themes need an upgrade to work with V2, but 3rd party themes should be fine.
You could try a google search like “export users to csv”, there are lots of plugins out there. We don’t recommend any particular one or the other as we haven’t tested then and they aren’t part of GeoDirectory.
Hello,
GD can export listings, and some members choose to store the listing email with the listing.
To export users you will need another plugin to export users.
Hello,
we have a new integration with Ninja Forms that you can use for that feature. Yes, Send Enquiry has been removed for V2 and replaced with the Ninja Forms integration.
