Thanks for posting your information.
The developers have been alerted.
I was able to find the listing by searching ‘des jeunes’.
It seems like the apostrophe is the same char on my keyboard. It shows as this in the URL:
&s=l%27ancre
The developers will let us know why that string doesn’t show any results.
August 22, 2018 at 7:01 pm in reply to: listing page – 2 photo galleries – 2 related images – 2maps #443596I get a 404 for that URL.
Is there another one?Do you mean you are adding that to the description area?
The lower one cannot be ‘removed’ because it is part of the theme.
You can see it is part of the demo on this page.
https://wpgeo.directory/supreme-directory/places/attractions/shopping/
You can try hiding it with CSS:
.geodir-loc-bar { display: none !important; }You may need to adjust that to target it exactly where you want it.
The one in the header is a widget, so you can remove the widget.
There should be two widgets in the “Listing Top” section, one should be for Search, and one for Categories. You can remove either one, but removing Search should not automatically remove the categories widget.
Hello,
I was able to add and edit a UK Park in the backend, and I could see the text in the front and backend.
Can you send a link to a listing that is showing the issues you mention?
Which imagesThere are a lot of mixed content errors on the site. You should probably address those.
You might also ask Yoast about the errors showing in the console.
Right now I see another issue, that the listing preview page is being redirected to the home page.
Try disabling the redirection related plugins on your site to see if that issue persists.
I think you should try disabling Yoast, too, to see if it clears the issue up. There are a lot of errors showing in the console causing scripts not to load, resulting in the image upload on the backend not working.
This has already been flagged for the developers. It will really help if you can also share FTP for further debugging.
FTP Credentials
SFTP/FTP:
FTP Host:
FTP Port:
FTP User:
FTP Password:First, eliminating the slug for the CPT (Places) is not possible.
Second, to achieve something like: site.com/places/philadelphia(metro)/havertown(city)/post-title
here, adding in a new ‘admin’ area like ‘metro’ is a customization, for certain, and not something we can help with because truly implementing it would mean touching almost every aspect of the core plugin, a complete rewrite. It is not just URL rewrites that are involved, but queries and the entire scheme for managing locations. Tons of work.
I just tested this.
Try setting featured on the sorting options as shown below.
This places the Sorting option in place, and sets Featured as default.
The first event start date is later than the other earlier non-featured event.
Excellent!
BSR catches that setting too, for future reference.

You really should contact a developer to help you fix your site.
All of the help that we can provide about how to use the plugin is written out here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/useful-plugins/#bsr
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/better-search-replace-plugin/The issue is that the site has been ‘moved’ from http to https, but not all the URLs have been changed. This is also described here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/mixed-content/
If the site is loading over https, then images with urls of http will not load.
This is a step ahead of your issue, though, because there are in fact broken URLs inside your database that must be repaired.
This is not a GeoDirectory issue.
It makes the sorting option for ‘Featured’ available on the listing page, so users can change the sort from “Upcoming” to “Featured”.
I have flagged this for the developers to let us know if they have a workaround.
August 22, 2018 at 3:30 pm in reply to: apostrophe in French with the Search engin tool (in result page) #443552Yes, there is a button near the submit button that says “Set as private reply”. You can use that to hide the details from the public so that only our team here can read them and take a look at the site.
Thanks
This is not possible: gamebeast.com/philadelphia/havertown/ice-hockey-clinic
What is ‘host’? Is that “Philadelphia’? Or you mean like ‘site.com’/?
I think you mean site.com/philadelphia(metro)/havertown(city)/post-title
Is that right?
And you would want Location and CPT Listing pages for the ‘metro’ areas also?
For categories, yes, they come at the end of the URL, generally speaking.
