there aren’t any logs in GDV1 importer, so, you will have to check to see which new posts show in your list of posts (in Places – Show all places, for example).
Please see here for all required fields. If left empty the row will be skipped.

I have not seen that happen before, unless the remote page has duplicate images, so, we don’t have any immediate fix for you.
Can you share the URL of a page/event that you have imported that causes this behavior?
