Hello,
Thanks for writing in with more details now about what you want to do. Now I think we understand what you are trying to do, but it is a customization.
This is not a bug with the add listing shortcode. The plugin is designed to work with the add listing page and the permalink for add-listing is a critical part of the operation.
If you unset the permalink and insist on leaving it that way, then, you must customize more than just the add-listing.php template, you must also open up all the redirection and indeed the entire logic for the add listing process.
This kind of customization is far outside of what we can help you with here in support. What we can do is point out the add listing code snippet, to add custom text based on the CPT type https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/common-code-snippets/#add-listing
As you can see in your examples above, the problem is not just getting a dynamic link into the menu, it is also that the links themselves don’t work without the add-listing page permalink setting. The same applies to the links for renewal and upgrade. Those too are dependant on the add listing page being set.
If you set the add-listing page url, then you can use the snippet to deliver your custom text per CPT, and you can avoid all the work with the customization. You can then either add the navigation menu settings back in to power the widget links, or you can make custom menu links to the individual pages, those are the options available without customization, but they only work if the add listing permalink is set.
If you decide to proceed with the customization, you will still need to set the add listing page and probably alter the template, plus override at least 3 different functions, and for that you would again be outside what we can help you with here in support.
Hello,
on your site:
“Anyone can register” is disabled, has been enabled
Adding a place, the category form is hidden. See basic installation and add at least one category. Added General category
I updated your GD Permalinks settings
I resaved WP PermalinksI have made those changes on your site and was able to add a Place using the social importer for facebook.
Every page needed to add a listing works.
Check it out and let us know
Hello,
I am not able to get past your security page there.
Please advise.
Hi Joanna,
you might like to check out UsersWP. It already offers great profiles and in the next version it will have some great integration with GeoDirectory.
If you are looking for ways to engage users, look no further!
Hello,
for future reference, this is the CSS that Kor added:
.geodir_category_list_view li.gridview_onehalf { width: 48%!important; }

January 17, 2018 at 1:46 pm in reply to: Like / Dislike Buttons not available in Multi-Rating Plug-In #413133Hello,
1# Stars PNG is provided as a sample and can be copied out of the settings. If it isn’t to your liking you can make a new one.
2# Menus – Improvements to menus are coming in GDV2. For now, what you can do is disable menu options in GD > Design > Navigation, and then add custom menu items to replace existing items or add new ones.
3# See 1 above
4# Speed – About the speed of your site, I can only advise to pair down the sheer number of plugins you are using. You can also add resources to your server.
I hope that answers your questions posed here.

Hello Joy,
More changes are in store once we get some more hard work in on GeoDirectory V2.
We are very interested in email, for sure. Add a feature request and keep voting it up if it’s where you want to see the energy go: https://wpgeodirectory.com/requests/

You can check to make sure GD > Permalinks > GD Home is set to a real page, and then visit WP > Appearance > Widgets to add some widgets to GD Home Content sections.
If that doesn’t work, you can make a private reply here and include your site URL along with your WP Admin credentials so our team can take a look.
Thanks

Each CPT has a different listing form with a different link. You will need to provide your site visitors with links to each of the different forms.
You can review the options at GD > Design > Navigation, or add the loginbox widget to find those links, and then add them to a custom menu. The loginbox provides an ‘automatic’ way to keep those links up to date.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/widgets/#loginbox
Also make sure to allow users to add each CPT by reviewing settings at GD > Design > Navigation > Allow post type to add from frontend
It looks like a very nice custom menu you have setup at the top for each listing CPT, maybe adding a link at the bottom of each one “Add X” would work well for you.
About the 404 for the Locations CPT type, the slug “Location” is conflicting with your GD Permalinks “location” page slug. You will need to change one or the other of those. Once you do, let us know if that solves the problem. You can change it for the CPT at GD > CPT > Location
Your GD Core plugin is current, but at least one other plugin needs an update. You can install WP Easy Updates to receive notices about updates and make your updates easy!
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/installing-addons/#updates
Let us know if that didn’t answer your questions, or if there is something else we can do to help
Thanks

You may have added some customizations to your site that have made changes to the display of the address in the MapBubble.
First check in GD > CPT > CUstom FIelds to make sure the address is set to display in the MapBubble.
Then take a look in your functions.php or code snippets for something similar to what you find at this link:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/adding-full-address-in-map-bubble/Thanks for writing in today, and let us know if you have more questions
Hello!
Thanks for writing in today with your question.
When you inspect the page you will see which grid options are available. Here in this topic a member shared what they found working with the description when customizing their style:
