Hello!
Please update all the GD plugins, as they are designed to work together, and we can only provide support for the latest released version. Location Manager should be at 1.5.62
you can find the latest versions here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/your-account/
That version of Location Manager, that you have now, is old enough to predate WP Easy Updates, and so it is not telling you that it needs to be updated. Once you get it current, WP Easy Updates can inform you of future updates.
Hello @yvettie86,
I re-saved your Permalinks and now the login page is back.
Let us now if you have any more issues like this.
Hello James,
Please check to make sure you have upgraded all your GD plugins at the same time. You can use WP Easy Updates for fast and easy updates.
If upgrading all the Addons doesn’t fix the issue, you can create a private reply and include your WP and FTP access credentials so we can diagnose the issue.

thanks for writing in with your question today.
It looks like that site is using a child theme of the GeoDirectory framework:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/category/themes/
You site visitors can add any listing type that you allow them to add, you just create a link to the CPT add listing page. A Favorites function is built into GeoDirectory. You could add UsersWP to get some beautiful profiles with easy to find favorites:
Your members entitles you to use GeoDirectory Addons on an unlimited number of URLs. Can’t wait to see your new site!
Thanks again for writing in today; feel free to open a new topic if you have a new question
Hello!
GeoDirectory currently doesn’t have a feature like that, but we will keep it in mind for future versions.
You can add a feature request here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/requests/
Thanks for writing in today, and feel free to open another ticket if you have another question
Hi Tony,
thanks for writing in today with your question.
1# About the advanced search, you can find instructions here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/common-styling-examples/#cog
2# That text is part of the theme, and you can change that and any other string in the theme with translation:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-themes/
Thanks again, and feel free to open another ticket if you have new questions

This reply has been marked as private.Hello again,
You can use the Loginbox widget to quickly get a list of all the important links.
Click on the link, then capture the URL to add it to your new menu item.
Your directory could work such that the people who visit can quickly login/register with Facebook. Once registered they can add their listings, and also view their own profile to see a link to manage that listings. When they create a new listing, in any of the locations you allow, the listing is set for “Draft” status to allow you to review it before publishing it. They could also receive a notice each year to update and renew their listing. When they do visit the site, they could also add an event that could be linked to their parish listing, and then you could show a listing of all upcoming events.
To accomplish that case, you would need several of the Addons including Location Manager, Pricing Manager, Claim Manager, Social Login, Events, and you can also check out UsersWP (https://userswp.io) which will come packaged with GeoDirectory integration for beautiful profiles with links to your site member’s listings.
I haven’t heard of Calendar Starter, and we don’t currently offer any integration with it. If you want to make it easy to offer Parish listings and integrated event listings, though, then you should definitely look at our Events Addon.
Hello,
1# Is there a way to change its positioning to be say the third item in the menu. It currently is added as the last item on the main menu
That menu is generated dynamically so it is not possible to change the position of that menu item, but you can remove that using the settings and then create a new menu item within the normal WordPress Menu settings. Try the GD Loginbox widget to find those links.
2# under PARISH, it shows a sub-menu item Parishes. Is there a way I can add another sub-menu item for Add a Parish?
Use the WordPress menu feature to create a custom link to Parish.
3# Where is the link to register?
You can add the Loginbox widget to get a registration link, and be sure to enable “Anyone can register” in your WordPress settings.
If that still doesn’t solve your problem, write back and let us know how we can help

I think we need a little more information to be able to help you.
Could you send the URL for the page where you want to make the change, please?
You can make a private reply so that only our team can see the link.
It would also help if you could send a screenshot so we can see exactly what you are trying to change.
I may be misunderstanding you, but if you want to change text that is coming from GeoDirectory, you can achieve that with translation.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/
Translation allows you to change a great number of the text strings that you see on the page.
Let us know if that isn’t what you are looking for, and do please include additional information so we can help you achieve your goal.
Thanks
Hello,
The PayPal Standard sandbox setting is available on the Gateway page:
Invoicing > Settings > Payment Gateways > PayPal Standard > PayPal Sandbox
Let us know if that isn’t what you need to get PayPal going
This reply has been marked as private.Hello @tkh2015,
Please check the settings for the Gateway to make sure they match your situation. You will find their the option to enable or disable the sandbox and to select your account type.
We are happy to take a look at the settings for you, just make a private reply here with your site URL and WP Admin credentials. Please be sure to test the credentials first to make sure they work and that they have access to the settings.
Thanks
January 12, 2018 at 5:58 pm in reply to: Search results – no records found and no categories displayed #412523Hello Joanna,
Thank for writing in with your issue. Here are a couple things to try:
1# Make sure all your listings have a category
2# Complete all basic installation steps: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/
3# Adjust the Home Map settings: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#map
4# Make sure you haven’t hid the caegories. In GD > Design > Map review the settings carefully to make sure you haven’t accidentally hidden the categories or post types from display on the map.Let us know if review and update of these settings doesn’t fix the problem.
