Hello!
There is a setting in GeoDirectory > General about deleted posts.
You can also add the Login Box widget, to give users a link to their listings where they can manage them.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/widgets/#loginbox
If you are looking for more options for users to interact and manage their listings, do check out UsersWP: https://userswp.io/
Try those and let us know if it isn’t what you are looking for
Hi Stewart,
glad you were able to customize it the way you want.
You can also review here about how to customize so as to preserve changes:

Options for changing the CPT slugs are inside the Custom Post Types settings
GD > Custom Post Types > Edit CPT

Hello!
If I understand correctly, that is part of the Supreme Directory child theme.
You can send a link to your site if you would like us to take a look.
January 12, 2018 at 5:01 pm in reply to: German .po files for Directory Starter and Supreme Directory #412501Hello @directoryfan,
Thanks for writing in with this question.
Theme translation files are in the languages folder of the theme. We do not currently store additional translations of the themes in other locations, and right now we do not have a German translation available, so yes, you would need to translate those strings you need from the files provided.
The theme file does contain frontend strings that are visible to visitors as well, yes, not just admin options. It is mostly frontend, in fact.
The files are quite small, though, compared to the GeoDirectory core plugin, though.

Thanks again for writing in today
Hello!
That is not currently possible with the GD Popular Post View widget, but you might come up with a similar solution using a Location Manager shortcode.
GD Popular Posts View currently supports
%posttype_singular_label%
&
%posttype_plural_label%
We are working hard on new versions and will consider adding a location option in the future.
You can submit a feature request here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/requests/
You could also try using a Location Manager shortcode: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/location-manager-shortcodes/#current
You might, for example:
Enable shortcodes in widgets
Add the Current Location shortcode to a widget with the text you mentioned
Place the text widget above the Popular Post View widget
Hide the title of the Popular Post View widgetYou can contact a GD Expert here for help with that kind of customization and personalized setup:

That shouldn’t be a problem, re-suing the key on the same URL.
Hi Matt,
glad you have a solution! Awesome!
stay in touch and let us know how your site is coming along
Hello,
You can find both of those in the core plugin:

Let us know how it goes
Hello Henry,
Directory Starter (DS) is a great theme, and there are by far more examples of custom CSS here in the forums for DS than any other theme besides Supreme.
Supreme Directory child (SD) is also a great place to start. Both DS and SD have recently been updated with new customizer options which you should definitely check out. Other themes certainly don’t have the same user base.
Many/most of GeoDirectory’s options have to do with the plugin itself, as opposed to the theme. To tell you the truth, unless you are working with a developer, DS or SD are both great ways to start your site and become familiar with GeoDirectory, and they certainly won’t stand in the way of making a great go of it with GeoDirectory.
Once you have GeoDirectory working the way you want, and have figured out the layout options you can achieve with the plugin all by itsef, yes, you might have a list of additional customizations that would be done with a developer or within a theme, and you might have seen more sites and can make a better and more informed choice about which theme is the closest to the ‘finish line’ and will give you the highest return on your efforts.
Let us know which one choose!
Hello Henry,
The credentials you supplied don’t seem to have full administrator access.
I suspect there is a plugin conflict, but can’t go further with the diagnosis without full admin access.
Please disable any cache plugins as well as any cache services coming from your host while we diagnose the issue.
If you like, you can also supply us with FTP access now, in case it becomes necessary later.
This reply has been marked as private.Good luck!
Thanks for letting us know which plugins you tried. Managing that many images is tough, no matter what.
Hi!
Once you have you advanced search up and running you can let us know what you think about it.
For the moment, I would recommend considering placing a GD Popular Posts Widget on to the Home/Location page, one for each of the scheme types (categories).
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/widgets/#popular-post
http://nhcvs.lighthouseit.co.uk/places/all/hertfordshire/hertfordshire/
Does one of the companies serve more than one community?
For Nearby search to work, the listing needs to have a location nearby.
Would it be prudent to make a listing for each company within each community they serve?
You know, you can also enable shortcodes in text widgets, and use any of the shortcodes on your Home/Location page as well.
Hello again,
Did you add “search by dates” as an Advance Search Filter in GD > Event Settings >> Advance search
It looks like this is referred to as “search within”, and was added some time ago:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/add-filter-to-search-between-dates/
Does that answer your question, or did I miss something?
