Hello!
Your site is looking good! Nice work on making it look unique.
GD is fully compatible with Yoast SEO
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/useful-plugins/#social
GD also has built in meta and titles features:
GD > Meta & Titles
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-core-plugin-titles-metas/
You should definitely consider using both of those options if SEO is important to you.
Thanks!
Hello!
Is this the same question as in your other thread? https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/directory-structure-2/
What can we help you with? Would you like us to move this issue to the GD Jobs forum? There are a number of developers and experts there who can help you set the site up and test different options.
Let us know
Hello!
Welcome to our forums! Here in the forums we provide free support for bugs related to the Core GD Plugin available from WordPress.org, in accordance with our support policy.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support-policy/
The site you reference above is running a paid Addon called Location Manager, our most popular Addon. You will need to please login to the forum with the account that was used to purchase the Addon before we can provide support for your site.
Thank you
Hello!
Some text and headers can be changed under the GeoDirectory settings, and a few more are available through the widgets or email notifications. The remaining text not accessible through those pages can still be changed by making a copy of the translation file and editing the text into what you need.
All additional text is available in the translation files. You can open up the file for your language, change the text, and load it to the language folder. Here are the complete instructions:
You can find complete instructions here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/
Each add-on has translation files, too: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-addons/Once you change one ‘string’ and see it working, you will probably want to change many more to make your site stand out and ‘speak’ to your customers.
Let us know how it goes!

You can do a couple of things here:
1# Make sure all your GD plugins are updated to the latest versions
2# Make a private reply with your site URL and admin credentials to let us take a look, after you have done the upgrade.
3# Disable debug mode for if you want to hide the error for the moment. https://aristath.github.io/blog/wp-hide-php-errors

Hello!
Try the package setting for “Featured” and see if that does what you are looking for.
You can set the “Free” Package on the listing to renew monthly, and then go to your payment options where you can un-tick “Require upgrade to claim listing”
Let us know how those options work for you
Hello!
We will be happy to take a look. Please create a private reply with your site URL and Admin credentials.
Thanks
Hello!
Great questions. Excluding Events from search will require either deleting them or setting them to some status other than “published”. Try this:
Search events, and choose a past event. Remember the search you made to find it.
Set the event to Draft mode
Try the search again, and see if it shows up in the list.Setting Events to draft or deleting them is a manual process.
For the event end time, you may be able to do that with CSS.
Hello!
You are welcome to develop integrations with other plugins, of course! That’s the greatest benefit of Open Source software!
Here is an example of how to integrate https://wpgeodirectory.com/formidable-forms-in-geodirectory-tabs/
Hello!
This would be a customization beyond what we can offer here in support. We consider search to be a part of the plugin. It’s great that your theme offers search, too, but we provide search in the plugin and can only provide you with general directions for integrating the two. If you do choose to go down that road and either hire a developer or work on it yourself, we can provide advice and look over the code you share here in the forums.
GD uses custom tables, setup in such a way to make them scalable for maps with 50,000+ listings. This means that the tables are accessible via WP Methods but fields are not stored in the typical WP Custom Post Type manner (which is not scalable).
Take a look here at some search results to see what others have done in this regard:https://www.google.co.id/search?ei=GaILWoPGGYj9vgTqzJsg&q=site%3Awpgeodirectory.com+submit+search
Hello!
How many CPT are you using? You can remove the CPT dropdown, but be sure to choose the default CPT that will be search.

https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/Hello!
Ar you talking about using neighborhoods in GD > Multilocations?
Usually those are used to maximize SEO, by creating Listing pages for each Neighborhood.
If you are trying to move visitors to the proper Neighborhood, you can use nearby redirection, but, if your directory is ‘hyperlocal’, meaning it is set to one city, you may have more success by giving the visitor a list of links to each of the main areas. It sounds like “Downtown” would be one of those links. You can add the location switcher to the main menu: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/multilocations/#main
You can also create a page with links to all locations:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/location-manager-shortcodes/#switchYou can “add space” easily by using translation files; find some default text in the area and add br tags there. That’s the simplest way, otherwise you are editing templates or getting into actions. There are many more examples in the foruum here.

Thanks for starting a new thread. Can you please make a private reply with your site url and admin credentials?
How do you want to proceed? Is this your live site, where you are activating/deactivating the plugins?
The core plugin should be activated before other dependant addons, generally speaking, could try that out.
Let us know how you want us to recreate the issue so we can see the error.
