Hello!
Here in the support forums we provide support to members with valid licenses.
You can sign in or renew your membership to get support for Advanced Search and more!
If you have any issues with the core plugin, just let us know!
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support-policy/
As a rule, if you aren’t planning to update your GD Addons, you shouldn’t update the core GD Plugin either. They must stay in sync on the latest version.
Okay! Let us know
Hello!
Please make a private reply with your site URL and admin credentials in case we need to take a look.
Where did you add the snippet? How?
Before we can take a look, please check to make sure all your GD plugins are updated along with WordPress to the latest versions.

This type of customization is generally beyond the scope of support.
That said, let me ask a developer to take a look at this.
Before I do, though, please provide a more explicit description of what it is you are trying to accomplish. We often provide direction when using actions and hooks, but we tend to steer away from programmatic use of the plugin templates, for which you should really hire a developer.
Looking forward to hearing more of what you are trying to do so we can point you in the right direction.
Hello,
We have an example here of how you can do that type of thing, adding a shortcode to a tab, customized for each place:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/formidable-forms-in-geodirectory-tabs/
You can post your new code back here if you want us to take a look at it.
If you are looking for GD Business Hours you can find it here:

Hello!
How is the trial set up? Are you using a coupon, Active Days, or a different listing package?
You can make a private reply with site url and admin credentials in case we need to take a look.
Hello!
There are a couple of ways to work with what you outlined there. We can provide you with the ideas, and you can let us know if one of them will work for you.
First of all, if you have the Custom Post Types Addon, you can create a new type of Post that has no address or location. That’s first.
You could also make a category that then has a transparent icon that wouldn’t show on the map.
You could use the pricing and payments manager to style one package of listings differently to display the information on the page in a different way.
Let us know if any of those will work for you

OK! Let’s take a look. Please reply with your Site URL and Admin credentials.
You made sure to change the URL in the snippet, right? What is the registration page you want to redirect to?
Great!
Let us know if you have more questions!
Hello,
it should work if you don’t assign the listings a recurring package. Instead just upgrade the new listing to a 30 day onetime package.

We have a documentation about exactly that:

We provide this page with template modification instructions.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-geodirectory-templates/
For search you can start in geodir-search.php but we do not recommend changing core files.
If there is already text in the area where you want to make a change you can do that through translation, and even include some html.
You can find complete instructions here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/
Each add-on has translation files, too: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-addons/Once you change one ‘string’ and see it working, you will probably want to change many more to make your site stand out and ‘speak’ to your customers.
Let us know how it goes!

Myself and Kiran logged in to the site today and ran another test and verified the issue.
We want to look into it further, however, the FTP credentials are not showing any files.
Can you please check the FTP details? We need access to the site directory on the server.
Let us know
Neil,
the fix Kiran has made will be in the next version of GD, also.
If rich text comments are enabled, then validation should still work.
We don’t support rich text comments, or recommend using rich text comments, but we do try to ‘get out of the way’ of other plugins.
Let us know how it works for you
Thanks
Hello!
By “Core” I meant the main GeoDirectory plugin, where you will find the text I copy/pasted there.
