February 13, 2020 at 7:46 pm in reply to: Displaying post and category and custom field names at top of Search pages #530179Hello,
you can use GD Post Meta to show custom field information on the details page template:
For example, to show the title:
[gd_post_meta key="post_title" show="value"]
Use the shortcode builder to set up shortcodes the way you want.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/shortcode-builder/
For the search page results, there is an option in
GeoDirectory – Settings – General – Search – Display searched parameters with title?
I am not sure I understood exactly what you were asking on the search results page. It seems like you removed all the information from display in the archive item template.
What shortcode are you using for the map?
If we need to check the settings please share a link to the site and WP Admin credentials.
Thanks
Hello,
the autocomplete for titles and categories can be disabled in the advanced search function settings.
It sounds like you might want to replace it with category search filter, as described here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/advanced-search/#select
Hello,
If you just upgraded to GDV2 we recommend you use UsersWP for login:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/userswp/
If that isn’t the issue you can try turning off the login plugin through FTP , and then login through wp-login.php
If we need to check the settings please share FTP and WP Admin credentials in a private reply.
This reply has been marked as private. We have a page about performance here:
GD Post Content is for the Archive item. I recommend you use the GD Post Meta element for the details page.
February 13, 2020 at 7:28 pm in reply to: favorites does not work properly –> error message: Page not found #530172I can see that on my test site, too.
I will ask the developers to look into the issue and post an update here. Thanks
With the Custom Post Types addon, each CPT can have a separate Archive item.
See this page for information about editing the template:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/templates/archive-item/I will ask the developers to take a look at your topic.
Thanks
February 13, 2020 at 9:24 am in reply to: Near field always default to city which shows only few listing. #530098You have many out of date plugins.
Please update them and if the issue persist we can check again, just let us know.
Please make sure to update GD. We released an update for Avada today.
Please also check the package advanced settings. If you have selected “Disable HTML Editor” then tags will be stripped.
Let us know
The Link Posts field has an option to allow the listing owner to link to any post.
Let’s assume that there is a CPT Stores and a CPT Cars. CPT Stores then has Link Posts: Cars field.
So, if Store B is linked to 100 cars, and Store A is selling 15 of those cars, the Store A listing owner can link Store A to 15 of the cars.
GD Linked Posts can be set to display “linked TO” for this case to display the 100 cars on Store A and the 15 cars on Store B
