Simply remove the category from the permalinks setting to change it back.
If it works, it works. If not, change it back.
I recommend you backup what you have in the search page and then add the default content back in.
GD Listings is not a replacement for GD Loop on the search page, it won’t work with that in place.
Also there is CSS inside the shortcode for the search bar.
You can find the default content in
WP Backend – GD – Settings – Pages – GD Search – Default Content
Thank you, we will look into that! Thanks for reporting!

If that isn’t the issue, please share wp admin credentials and login URL so we can check the settings.
It is not possible to duplicate the category field. If you really need it on the search bar you would need to switch it back to a select field. The difference being that a select field can have only one option stored.

FTP may also be necessary for debugging so I recommend including that as well. If you have a staging site, it would be preferable for debugging.

It looks like you found a setting that works?
Hello,
you can find CSS for hiding search bar elements here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/common-examples/
To change the ‘read more’ edit the GD Archive item and build a new shortcode for GD Post Content that has the features you want.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/templates/archive-item/
To alter the map zoom on the Details page see this guide:
