Try disabling Jetpack image performance settings. GD already has a lazy load option for images.
If you remove it then it will not be possible for someone to claim it. If you do not need claims, then you can also simply disable the claim listing addon.
Every listing can be edited by any admin and the author of the listing.
When someone claims a listing and the claim is approved their account is set as the author.
That requires a customization, but it is a good idea and I will add it to idea box for the developers to consider for future versions.

For adding GD Categories to the detail page, the default for the shortcode should work.
[gd_categories post_type="0" title_tag="h4" sort_by="count" max_level="1" max_count="all" max_count_child="all"]
If you don’t want the links in the categories to have location, you can disable that feature in the Locations tab
Look for the option “Archive URLs on the details page”
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/location-manager/
You can also use GD Post Meta for categories.
Try granting the manage_invoicing capability and let us know
Recurring packages require that the user has an account with Paypal.
For the Payment method not being displayed, make sure the package is active and that Paypal is not in test mode.
For further questions about Invoicing and Invoicing gateways please post to
Use the address template option as shown in the attached screenshot.
This reply has been marked as private.Hello,
have you added “GD Author Actions” widget to the details page sidebar?
That will give them an edit link so they can edit their listing.
If you haven’t already you can also add the Claim manager and the Claimed field to the events CPT.

Hello,
GD can be used for directories of items with or without location. To remove location or adjust options for the Custom Post Types used in the directory you will need the Custom Post Types Addon and the Location Manager addon.
You can create one or more Custom Post Types. They can be linked together. You could have one for profiles and another for offers, that is a very common setup.
GeoDirectory has an addon for creating pricing packages. This addon can be used to set a price for adding listings of certain types or with certain features, all configured within the pricing manager. Checkout for the sale of listings is handled by a cart. You can use WP Invoicing or WooCommerce for the cart.
If you want to sell other items like tickets or memberships you should look to the cart or 3rd party cart addons for those options as GeoDirectory is focused on pay-to-publish for listings in the directory.
GD Map has an optional param all_posts=true
If that is set in an archive map it will show all the listings, not just the ones in the current paging set.
Just remove that param for any maps where you don’t want to show all posts.
January 16, 2020 at 8:07 am in reply to: Events Categories show up on home page with places categories #525895Edit the home page and change the GD Categories shortcode to only display categories for a chosen post type.
You will need to press the blue button in the shortcode editor to see the advanced options.
January 16, 2020 at 8:05 am in reply to: 4 questions. Scroll bar on map bubble. Editing Field Types. Search Shortcode. #5258941. The scroll works, but you want it to be visible? We will check into a CSS fix for that, thanks for your patience while we look into it.
2. Yes, changing the label will not change the data. If you change the data options, and remove “red” as an option, then you may need to clear that value out of individual listings through import/export, and new listings won’t be able to choose ‘red’
3. Please share WP Admin so we can check the settings. If you don’t want the map to show all posts then remove
all_posts='true'
4. Not at this time because they are ordered using a custom method, as you say, the posts per location.

yes, please share WP Admin and FTP credentials so we can debug on your site.
Hello,
Location page “Near me” results are sorted by distance in every case. Any sorting set in the GD Listings will be overridden to sort by distance. This is a special case that applies only to this page and to near search results. There isn’t a workaround for this planned so it would require your own customization.
