If you find errors in your schema please let us know. We fix them as we find them.
As mentioned in the topic you linked Google has made a change in their policy. What we can do is make sure GeoDirectory schema’s are adhering to the expected output.
Use the V1 version. V2+ versions of plugins should only be used with GDV2+
On your account downloads page scroll to the bottom and click on the link to see V1 versions for download.

You can add additional information to the street address column to gain more accuracy.
Postcode should go into the zip column.
Try adding an example listing through the backend then exporting to follow this guide:

This is possible with GD built in features with text fields, but not textareas. We have a request to add validation to textareas which we are considering for future versions.
That requires a customization.
