Null and 0 are treated the same in that case because a number field’s value is actually 0. The only workaround is to use a text field.

I’m sorry but that isn’t possible with GD settings, and would require a customization. Are you trying to style it?

You may have used a different field key.
The Supreme GeoDirectory Single Template detail info section works with the field with key ‘phone’
For recurring events you can enter a custom schedule.
Add an event, and select recurring, then under “Repeats” select custom to fill in the schedule as you see fit.

Have you made the field required?
Visit the custom fields settings and click the Claim listing field, then click the blue button to show the advanced properties.If it is set to required, uncheck it to make it not required and check your listing again.

You want it to show featured first, but in order of date?

If you are using a different plugin to show users profiles, that is fine.
Just uninstall UsersWP first.
Did you add GD Author Actions to the sidebar?
