I am not sure this is possible, exactly, but I am looking into how it might be achieved.
September 30, 2019 at 1:12 pm in reply to: Possible "open near me" using Business Hours & "near me" functionality? #510894Business Hours is not yet integrated in that way with search, to show open/closed now/at-time-of-search but it is something we are considering for future versions. I have taken this up as a suggestion to see if it is something we can work on in the near future.
September 30, 2019 at 1:09 pm in reply to: Franchise with employee listings for each Office location #510891It sounds possible, yes, linking one CPT (employees) to another (offices/companies).
For search you would probably want to have something about the company in the employee description content.
You can create different add-listing pages. First add a new WP page, then use the shortcode builder to create a gd_add-listing shortcode to specify which post type form you want. If the new page slug is /edit-carousels/ and the post type is gd_carousels then the link to the page should be:
/edit-carousels/?listing_type=gd_carousels
You will need to link directly to that to have it show the carousel CPT form, if you want to send people there from a menu, for example, to create a new carousel type listing.
Whether the CPT can be added or not is part of the CPT General Settings
Places -> Settings -> General -> Allow frontend addYou can find links in the GD Endpoints

We will consider that, yes.
Any plugin that can use shortcodes or widgets in a sidebar should work ok. There are so many, both free and premium, that a quick search should give you some idea of the options. If you are looking for something simple, then there are plenty of free plugins on wp.org . Premium plugins do app integration and much more.

Buddypress and GD Buddypress are optional, as are all addons, so, disable them if you do not need them.
To change the search slug, visit the GD Search page and change the slug.
Cities should not be entered directly. They will be created automatically as listings are added. You can add, edit and merge them in – GD – Settings – Locations (tab) – Cities (subtab)
Custom fields – Please share a link so we can check it out.
Thanks

Use the additional shortcode builder options for alignment, etc. Use the blue button to reveal all the advanced options.
