I also was not able to open the site.
When you have it hosted (without a hostfile edit) we can take a look.
The ‘search for’ field will look in title/description/tags/categories.
Other fields can either be added to the search bar or added to the advanced search options using the Advanced Search addon:
Hello,
Please share your login URL, too.
Thanks

Simply editing the listing won’t do it. The listing package needs to be renewed to reset the date.
Does that make sense?

August 6, 2019 at 6:48 pm in reply to: No Records Found Sorry … Please adjust your search criteria #501650Hello,
it could be that there is a problem with the default location.
Try setting it again in the setup wizard and make sure there is a city/region/country.
Did you add dummy data? Might need to remove that if the location changes (best to remove it before changing the location).
If that isn’t the issue, we’ll be happy to check your settings and find the issue. Just write back in a private reply and include WP Admin credentials and the login URL.
The field at GeoDirectory > Extensions > Membership is for addons installed from that screen (so, you can re-install everything from there if you want to use that).
August 6, 2019 at 6:42 pm in reply to: Upgraded to V2 and the main nav menu doesnt display for logged in users.. #501647Hello,
I have flagged your topic for our team to look further into the issue with the header menu.
You can use BuddyPress or the WP login system.

August 6, 2019 at 6:30 pm in reply to: There was an issue determining where GeoDirectory Plugin is installed and activa #501645Hello
that error is usually due to installing Location Manager V2 with GDV1, or vice versa.
Please check to make sure you have installed location manager 2+ with GDV2+.
If that isn’t the issue please share WP Admin credentials in a private reply so we can check on the settings.
Excellent!
Yes, when changing display options on your site, a good idea to clear cache then disable cache plugins.
Yes, you can set different categories for each CPT.
GD Listings can have category filters applied, use the shortcode builder to do that.
However, that feature is not yet available for GD Categories shortcode/element
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/design-elements/#gd_categories
That is part of the PHP template. If you want to get rid of it you can switch to the full width page template.
To do that, open the GD Details template (a WP Page with that title), then find the Page Attributes and select Full width.
Please share a link to the page and we will see about a fix for that.
Thanks
That is the “Category Filter” and it can be removed with cat_filter=”0″
Use the shortcode builder to find all the options
