Mm..double search bar. You should be able to remove any search bar from either a template or widgets. Try editing the template for the page.

GDV2 translations are now available at WP.org

You could also add a field for the restaurant to share their menu as a file which seems easier.Seems ok when I check

I was able to add a Place through both backend and frontend.

I recommend you
1. Remove GD Post Ratin
