Thanks, the developers will take a look when they get back into the office.
We do not have that output for Post Meta or any of the GD widgets, except for text and textareas as Guust mentioned.
Instead you should create a custom shortcode. Here is an example: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/customizing/#custom-integrations
1. The Change Location feature is a menu item now, like a menu link. You can add it to the menu easily. Open WP – Appearance – Menus – At the top of the screen select GeoDIrectory endpoints, and then the change location menu item.
2. Are you using Elementor Pro theme builder? You can add whatever you want into your layouts. What is the problem exactly? It is a menu, right? So use Elementor to style the menu?
3. You can use WP conditional tags for Single CPT and Archive CPT, or Search CPT. Is that what you are looking for?
4. If you are using Elementor why do you need snippets to add layout options?
OK! 🙂
I made a test page using the canvas here and it seems to work ok with columns and GD elements.
/test-page/
As far as I can tell the issue is that you are trying to use the page builder on the Details page. You need to use the theme builder instead.
April 13, 2019 at 5:22 pm in reply to: How to Make GD Listings Inherit Newspaper 9 Theme Post Design More Effectively #480534Oh, sorry, I just forgot to type that as I was busy looking for display issues on the frontend.
Please provide a link to the panel that won’t save. I clicked around but I want to tale a look at it before the developers come in to check it on Monday.
Thanks for reporting, I see what you mean.
We will take a look into this on Monday when we are back in the office.FWIW the form works when other profile plugins are not installed ex. https://wpgeo.directory/supreme-directory/
We will look into the issue further to see the conflict.
Can you share WP Admin and FTP so we can take a look at your settings?
Unknown, but how about making a new topic for the issue so we can look into it. Seems like this topic is already resolved.
Maybe there is some bad code in the archive item template. Try adding the default content to see if it works as expected.
Thanks for reporting, we will check on that.
We have a couple of examples here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/common-examples/#gd_post_badgeWhat is the issue exactly? Can you post your badge code here?
When I first saw your issue I thought you were writing in about GDV1 because you posted in a GDV1 forum.
In the future please post your topics to the appropriate subforums so we know best how to help you.
I have created a new page and added the default content and Supreme is working as expected.
I am not sure exactly what the issue is, here. Are you asking us to address the style of GD widgets in the canvas layout? The Elementor Canvas template is covered here in the docs. It removes everything, headers, sidebars, footers, everything. It would appear that it also makes any columns in the layout into a single column. Is that what you are looking for?
https://docs.elementor.com/article/315-using-elementor-s-canvas-page-templatePlease refer to the builder notes here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/builders/With Elementor you will need to use the Pro theme builder with widgets.
Yes, it should be possible.
April 13, 2019 at 10:37 am in reply to: How to Make GD Listings Inherit Newspaper 9 Theme Post Design More Effectively #480478I was able to login.
I do not see any particular issues. The details, search, and archive pages are all working as expected.
Sure! Are you using GDV1?
When you upgrade to GDV2 you can use GD Listings to show listings related to the current post by category or tag, and sort by nearest. You can add it to the detail template or add another tab. Lots of options with GDV2. -
