Yes, if a searched word occurs in title, description, category or tags it is deemed relevant, with less points assigned down the that list, and a few more points if it is featured and the word occurs.
If you are working with shortcode for Post Meta you can always prefix with an FA element like
<i class="fas fa-search"></i>This reply has been marked as private.remove the gd_post_badge, it has no key selected and will not work without it.

2. By Package ID, then subsort random.Package ID is not the same as paid and free, though, so you could consider assigning paid listings a custom “sort order” number to put them first, or make all paid listings featured so you could sort by featured first then a-z or random.
It is not possible to remove the category base.
