If the user never claims a listing, and users don’t make listings, then you also don’t need the pricing manager plugin.

However, when a subscription expires, the listing won’t be unpublished automatically because it won’t be connected to the listing.

So, maybe a different option is to mark most fields as “admin only” so the users cannot edit them?

Try using the country in the search

Is your directory in one country?
Then set the value for Search near additional
at
GD – Settings – General – Search – Search near additional

Select fields ca be added to the search bar.
Other fields can be added to the custom search bar.
Each field has an option “Add to Advanced Search”. Check that then visit the search ta to adjust options.
Those are the features provided by the advanced search addon.
