the 7888 listing is broken because it has no category.
Add a category and it should be fine.14997 got a proper permalink and works after update.
/restaurant/washington/seattle/the-capital-grille-31/When you have so many listings it can take some time for the permalinks to be rebuilt.
I will flag your topic for the developers and ask them if there is additional advice for permalinks when there are 20k listings.
1. Please see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/installation/#convert
2. Most sites using both are doing it inside one site, without multisite. It is really up to you. Of course being ready to increase server resources as needed is really important.1. You should UNTICK the box so data is NOT uninstalled. They should be unchecked by default.
2. You can do that, but we have a recommended procedure here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/installation/#convert
3. You can load plugins and themes at the same timePlease include details so we can check on that site
Thanks
We have had a number of reports about this error, it is a WP error that will be fixed in a future version.
For now some members have had success installing this 3rd party plugin to allow CSV files.
That is not a setting in GD, so, you will need to hide it with another plugin or custom CSS based on the ‘.logged-in’ body class.
Excellent!:)
Can you share the edit link for that listing?
So many of your listings are in draft mode, so are not visible from the frontend. Here are some notes about 500 errors.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/troubleshooting/#errorYou can setup debugging and you should see immediately which plugin or theme is causing the issue.
You can read more about this on this page:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/Don’t forget you will also need to upgrade your themes to V2+
I see. This is like in the image above. When you select “IN” the search will ONLY show listings that are “IN” the exact same location that you have chosen.
Near search works ‘across’ locations, and uses the center of the location, and so might include listings up to 125 miles as shown in your near search choice.
You’re welcome 🙂
Again it is not so easy to do these things in GDV1. You can DEFINITELY do that, and in minutes, with GDV2.
If you are determined, all that can be done via hooks in GDV1
By searching in the forum you can find plenty of examples, please see:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/search/?bbp_search=geodir_detail_page_sidebar_content
Sorry, it works, there was a problem with the formatting of my post though.
I added it to the customizer and it is fine.GDV1 requires customization to alter the display of fields outside of the More info tab or the Detail page sidebar.
You will have a lot more success and control with GDV2, with which you can easily customize the Detail template page using Blocks or shortcodes.
You could use this example to start with
https://wpgeodirectory.com/custom-fields-custom-places/If you don’t want to get into this kind of customization consider upgrading to GDV2
