We have an FAQ about that here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/where-can-i-find-map-markers/

Well, you need the gd_map shortcode inside the search template. Whether is is 100% page width is a concern for CSS or layout, ie the theme.
If you intend to use the sidebar/widget, then you will need to discuss the widget/sidebar situation with the theme author, or use a 3rd party plugin like Widget Logic to ‘stick’ the sidebar on the search page.
Make sure you have adjusted your font awesome settings to use at least version 5.3
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/font-awesome/
In GDV2 you can edit the GD Detail template to remove gd_post_images
Sorting is only available for “Archive” type pages, not for search.
If you want to feature listings, you can use the GD Listings element to show a group of listings on the search page. With V1 you can do that with a widget, or in V2 you can edit the search page template.
There are several strategies for the ‘value’ offering for listing owners.
Featured – More exposure if the listing is shown in more GD Listings widgets on the archive and search and location pages.
Category count – More exposure because the listing is shown on more pages. Here is a short intro to using Featured listings in V2
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/featured-listings/
Sorting options for archive pages are covered here:
Hello,
Directory Starter doesn’t have a special feature for the post featured image, meaning, it doesn’t show up anywhere on the page, unless it is added to the post description area.
If you are using GDV2 with block editor you can add an Image block, and set attributes for the image. See attached screenshot.
Hello,
for the purpose of search, the default category has the same weight as other categories.
read about default categories here:

The recommended practice is to set certain price packages to be “Featured” using the “Featured” custom field, then filter listings with gd_listings with “Featured Only”.January 30, 2019 at 2:29 pm in reply to: Remove Excerpt from three column on place listing and other request #466206Hello,
1. Limit post_content in archive item.
If you want to make customized design of each GeoDirectory element you will need to create your own custom CSS.
The example for limiting the excerpt is here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/common-examples/#post_content
To create custom CSS see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/2. Adjust gd_loop in the archive template to change the layout
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/design-elements/#gd_loop3. You must choose “Map Type” = Directory, then the option to filter by category is revealed.
That is a special feature of the Supreme theme.
It is a styled version of gd_categories
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/design-elements/#gd_categories
You can add that to your front page if you are not using supreme
Choose “Directory” for the map type, and the option will be revealed, as shown in the screenshot above.
See this link for info about adjusting the post_content in the Archive Item https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/common-examples/#post_content
Thanks
You are missing the geolocation API on your Google key. You may be missing others.
You should really use our button “Generate New Key” in the map settings to make sure you get all the necessary APIs.
