The GD templates cannot be viewed on the frontend, so, they will need to be unset while editing.
I will flag your topic for the developers
The shortcode replacement is https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/design-elements/#gd_post_images
This reply has been marked as private.1. There is a default image that can be set for the CPT in the CPT setings-> General – Default image. However that image is only for listings that do not have an image. You can access that image with the gd_post_images shortcode on listings Detail and Archive pages for listings that do not have an image. However the Supreme Featured Image Area at the top does not use fallback images. I have created a task to look at that for future versions of Supreme.
2. I do not understand this one. To be clear, the slider and the featured image area (with parallax effect) are two different features. The sider is created with the gd_post_images shortcode, whereas the Featured Imaged Area (Settings) is part of the theme and only shows the listing featured image. You can move the gd_post_images shortcode around in the GD Detail template to change the order if you like, but the Featured Image area could only be moved with a customization to the theme.
3. Some themes have features that involve the featured image. If you want you can simply turn off the parallax image by disabling it on the GD Details template.
As a reminder, you can create a separate template for each CPT. The setting to choose the template is in the advanced CPT options. To make a duplicate, you would create a copy of the GD Details template and edit that as you like. When we do that we usually name them like GD Detail – {CPT NAME} so we can find them easily.

I spoke with the developers about this. The field is not blank by default. By default the value for a text->number field is 0, and the default or a price field is 0, also, with formatting for price. This is specifically because there is no qualitative difference at the database level between 0 and 0. For example, the case, what if the user wants to enter that the price is 0 (free)?
The workaround is to use a text-> character field which does not deal with absolute values like 1 and 0 in the database.
If the field is not being used, then it will also not be useful in search. If it is being used then every item should have a price (0 or more).
A customization could hide the field if the price is 0, but, again, this would be a customization to attempt on your own because some users would want to set a price of 0 (free).
The developers will let us know if they have any other ideas for workarounds.

Are you using GDV2? If s please post in the appropriate forum so we know.
That image is from the add listing form. Did you set the field to “Active”? Only then will it show on the add listing form.

BuddyPress is not installed. You need to install and activate BP first.
