There is an option for sorting by Add Date. You can find that in the sorting options for the CPT. The Add date is the date the listing was created.
Every user receives an ID but it is not used by WP or GD very often, and the same is true for listings, so, lower IDs would be earlier. Sorting options for ID are not available as part of GD.
I think Guust already answered your question about search, yes?
I adjusted your permalinks settings.
Please review them and see if they meet your needs.
The Details page loads now.
Great!
Jeff, I can’t recreate that on my test site, so if you want to make a new topic we can check into that issue on your site.
Thanks
That is usually changed/renamed with the settings in the Custom Post Types addon.
Either that or the core plugin:
You can either add the field through the tabs UI
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/tabs/or edit the Details template:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/design-elements/#gd_post_metaYou can find our setup videos here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1i6wQt-OC_59LDG439Q6mA
The shortcode editor appears next to the classic editor only.
If the block editor is active then use blocks instead. That is covered here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/custom-post-types/#linkThe docs start here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/
Might help to give them a click-through
Setting up a Front Page is covered here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/getting-started/#frontMight want to check the way your theme treats H5, make sure it has sufficient margin/padding.
A task has been created to make sure that gets looked at for future versions.
Try
#geodirectory-add-post h5 { margin-top: 25px; }That was previously only visible in the backend on the right sidebar. Now it is available in the frontend, but only visible to admins. It is the date the listing expires, and used on listings that have a package assigned.
If you are intent on not allowing visitors to add listings, you can do that easily.
Simply visit the settings at:
GD – Design – Navigation
Adjust the options to disallow adding posts from the frontend, and also remove links to visitors don’t stumble on to them.
The Admin can always add listings from the backend. Just click on the plus sign in the admin bar for “+, Add Place” and you can always add a listing that way.
All the gd dashboard add listing links appear to go to the right form.
Can you say more about the issue 1)?Try zipping the CSV and attaching it to your private reply here and we will take a look.
You can include your original CPT export, too, so we can compare.
You can also include WP Admin and login url in case we need to check your site settings.
No changes in V2 related to those features.
Can you explain more avout the regions issue? That doesn’t sound right.
