I think it must have been custom development, unfortunately.
Wouldn’t that remove it from the form, but not from the listing display itself? I want it to remain in the form so that it is collected and the “Send Enquiry” function still works. I just don’t want it to display for any of my listings.
Thank you,
Daniel
Hey Paolo,
It is something that we added, or something that we asked a developer to add, more correctly. I was hoping you could point me in the direction of where it would have been added–I guess the question is where does the code live that populates fields to the listings?
Thank you,
Daniel
Thank you.

I’m sorry, but I don’t follow your response. There is no on/off for Claim listing verification required under the Notifications tab, as far as I can see.
The notifications tab simply has a list of text fields for entering notification text.
Please explain what you mean.

February 23, 2017 at 9:48 pm in reply to: Search Functionality not returning results in specific city #363481Hi,
you have 3 Dallas cities in the Texas region: http://csaday.info/wp-admin/admin.php?page=geodirectory&tab=managelocation_fields&subtab=geodir_location_manager&s=dallas&country
Please merge them and make sure all other locations too don’t have duplicates or triplicates.
Let us know how it goes,
Thanks
I believe you had recommended that I merge locations once before. I began to work on this but was quickly overwhelmed by the task. I have nearly 2,000 locations and 98 pages of them, as I’m sure you saw.
Is the only way to merge them manually through Geodirectory–>Multilocations–>Manage Location? Is there a tool to identify duplicates, triplicates, etc?
Thank you,
Daniel

Thank you–I edited the correct file, re-imported it, and it cleared up many of the issues.
Thank you.
Yes, I think you’re correct that they’re in the Manage Location directory.
CSV is attached.
Thank you,
Daniel
Hi there Paolo,
Thank you for your help.
I exported the CSV and edited the fields. While I do see that as you said, “under cities there are addresses,” these are not appearing in the export. Of course, I would like to correct these but I do not see how I can.
Also, though I corrected the fields to remove abbreviations for region (state and province), I am hesitant to import it because the export does not have field headings which match the ones referenced in your documentation. What will happen if I import this CSV? I do not want to risk ruining my data on the directory.
Finally, these listings have many more fields associated with them than are listed in the CSV export. Are these additional fields stored in a separate database and then linked via the post_id?
Thank you,
Daniel
Hi Paolo,
I understand that but when I filter the search specifically by Iowa by using the Browse by Locations functionality, the full results from Iowa are still not showing up.
