Hello,
Issue resolved. It was an error with Litespeed caching search results. This issue has been resolved.
You may close this ticket.
Thank you
Did you guys even VET this update? I just got a report that many listings are not under their proper category on the live site. I will need to roll back whatever changes you did.
Very frustrated. I am going to go ahead and move on I think… I hope this gets worked out in the end…but, we have too many customers who need a working solution.
I appreciate you trying, but our database must be old, or something and breaks too easily…
Ok…I like the idea of you helping to fix…but, as well, I need time to redo all of the pages. And by that time, businesses may be added or removed from the original.
If you have any ideas of how I should proceed to prevent issues, I am willing to work on that. How could I do a re-import for example, once I complete work on the cloned site?
File manager has been installed. FTP though is the exact same account, so if you could not get it to work before…it won’t now.
As discussed, you will only be repairing the database, and not doing the upgrade. I will complete the upgrade on my own cloned install afterwards (as I still need to rework pages, etc).
I appreciate you resolving this issue quickly, so we can continue the upgrade.

This is a clone of the original site, so this means the original will still have this issue. Due to the problem with not being able to login to FTP, this database is stale as well.
So, if I need to repair the database tables on the original site, what needs to be done before I try this again?
Wonderful…now, can you explain what you did so that it worked? I followed every direction, and it would wipe out all data every time.
Well, extremely frustrating. I would have preferred your IP to whitelist you for now. Since that is not forthcoming, I have instead set up “Advanced File Manager” in WordPress.
Basically it is a file manager like Cpanel, but within the install itself. So, once you log in to the site itself, you can add / remove and upload files as needed with proper permissions.
Here is more information…

This, I believe should suffice.
We do not block India, unless their particular IP space is blocked for abuse.
So, I cannot unblock unless I know what their IP is to check against our firewall.

I just wanted to follow up on this and if you had any word about the upgrade issues?

I have reached out to the author, as I tried to disable their Maps implementation, and it still interferes.
Just to make sure I work with both authors, is there a way to completely disable your Google Maps integration?
Thank you
February 19, 2019 at 4:38 pm in reply to: Search displays ALL listings when category selected #470061That did it. After your comment I went back and reviewed the Categories. Sure enough, another editor added “spaces” in the category name.
Thus, Restaurants – Barbeque
instead of…
Restaurants-BarbequeI changed it, and now it works. Guess I better get that editor to retyping…eh? LOL
Thanks for the help. You may close.
