    Hi Paolo,

    I followed the instructions – https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-geodirectory-templates/

    I used FileZilla to do this.

    When I go into Appearance – Editor – I can see all GD templates listed down the side e.g. geode listing php.

    Is it safe to change the code within these templates now?

    Thanks Paolo. I meant the CSS Hero Editor. Should that work do you know?
    I’m just completing a CSS course on UDEMY so hopefully that will teach me a bit.

    Thanks for getting back to me.

    I have added to the GD Pages template files to my child theme.

    Am I able to customise them using code in the editor?

    Hi Paolo,

    I’ve downloaded Poedit. Do I then select Edit a Translation or Create new translation?

    To change the title listing, do I add a comment?

    I downloaded WordPress Language but I’m not sure how to upload the new po file.

    Hi Paolo,

    Sorry what I meant is the listing in the primary menu.

    Can I call it something else such as directory?

    Hi Guust,

    i did that previously.

    The problem with the switcher is

    1) when people visit and select country, unless they know to press backspace in search it won’t display the country options.

    2) if they pick country it takes them straight to the map without letting them select the region.

    3) If they choose region, it selects all regions no matter what country you are in.

    I changed it to multi city and multi region and i was able to add a listing and pay via paypal.

    Hi Paolo,

    Thanks for updating the plugins and creating the login page again.

    In England, when you say you trashed something it can be a bit derogatory. Now I understand you meant literally deleting pages. It just goes to show language is different across cultures and can be interpreted differently.

    Yes I did ‘trash’ delete the login page. I thought I might have created it because it said Login rather than GD Login.

    I got my Dad to try and add a listing yesterday and he said it wouldn’t let him fill in the address and it kept defaulting to London.

    Is that the location switcher conflicting with it?
