Thanks Alex. That works. – I could not find the documentation but I see it is on the plugin sales page. Will remember in future.
OK thank you very much.
I just tried to update claim manager and got the following:
Updating Plugin GeoDirectory Claim Manager (3/3)

An error occurred while updating GeoDirectory Claim Manager: Download failed. UnauthorizedThis is a multisite which I think was previously on goodlocalevents.com
I am not sure if that makes a difference.
I don’t know. Guust had a go at it Saturday I think and managed to make it work. I have noticed on a few occasions in recent weeks that we would get 3 or four plugins showing as “update” required. We would “update” them but they would then recur – sometimes on the same day. The common factor was always one of them was the WP Update plugin you use. I actually uninstalled and reinstalled that at the weekend because I could not get it to update.
On a separate issue, we have the integration with WP Bookings loosely implemented but working very well and we will get it better. Do you have an email address I can send you more information on?

We have been working in this general area over the weekend and I will post some findings and thoughts later.

There seem to be a couple of plugins which will transfer a CPT from a subsite to the main site (or anywhere else) in Multisite pretty much automatically on change from draft to published.
They certainly work for standard posts and pages. Until I get one in and try it I don’t know whether it will work with GD.
They may be a starting point we can work from even if they don’t get us there straight away. We will probably have a go over the weekend. Why did I know one of them would be WPMUDEV 😐 which I have been trying to keep out of my WordPress installs for the last three years? The good news is the other one looks more promising.
I would obviously prefer the non-duplicated master/slave setup where edits on one transfer to the other but had guessed this would need a lot more work.
Hi Alex, thanks – that seems to work quite well for us.
Issue resolved.

Selecting “Not a caterer” should mean nothing should show. Selecting “Caterer for Private functions” should show in detail sidebar. Selecting “Caterer does not do Private Functions” should also show that instead in detail sidebar.
It looks how I want it to but it does not deliver what I want.
The syntax I used for the above in option values is
Not a Caterer/0,Caterer for Private Functions/1,Caterer does not do Private Functions/1,
But it does not work. The yes/no works for “not a caterer” but selecting one or other of the other two do not deliver the option on the page (and do not hold on saving).
Resmush.it seems OK – no conflicts with Geodirectory and a good product:
https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/resmushit-image-optimizer/
It is also free where you need to pay to use the cloud get EWWW Image Optimizer to do all the stuff it is capable of.
And you need to count your fingers any time you “shake hands” with anything originating with WPMU-DEV – the other ‘Smush’ people – in my opinion.
It appears to be a problem with EWWW Image Optimizer. I had been moving towards using Resmush.it (not the same as the WPDev product) in any case so it is not really a problem for us but it will probably come up again so you need to know.
Best wishes
