Go to GD > Place (or other CPT settings) > Sorting options tab > Add “featured” option from left hand side and set as default.
Can you post URL and WP admin details please.
Admins can over-write that in the backend.
Is a new free listing added from the frontend also featured? And the URL is …. 🙂
Try this CSS
.geodir_location_neighbourhood .geodir-cat-list ul li { clear: both; }Can you post a URL where we can check it out? (and WP admin details just in case, in a private reply).
Thanks3. That’s news to me … it seems that you can also add radio custom fields.
I’ll check with the developers which field types can be added.1. Sorting is only for Listings pages, not Search pages. Search pages are automatically ordered depending what the visitor search for.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/ is only about how the search works.2. “Surely I should be able to sort by categories (A-Z)?”
The sort options are to sort listings on the Listings page, so there is no point sorting by category. If visitors are interested in a particular category, then they can follow the links in the popular category widget, or the CPT categories widget.3. Of the custom fields, only the categories custom field can be added to the search bar, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/#cat
If you want to add categories to the Advanced Search only, do NOT “Select Yes to include the categories drop down in the Advanced Search”. Then it will be included in the Custom Search, as per https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/#customI hope it is clearer now.
You’re welcome 🙂
You can restrict CPTs to admins at GD > Design > Navigation > Allow post type to add from frontend
Remove the CPTs that users cannot add from the frontend, and admins will still be able to add them from the admin area.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#navigationNo, that is not possible as far as I know, but I’ll forward this question to the developers too to make sure.
“Upgrade” is more like “Possible to change”.
If you set a package to “has upgrades”, you allow the user to choose another package. There are quite a few backup plugins that would work.
Most hosts have a backup section in your control panel too.
The main thing is that you understand how to restore the backup files.Install a plugin that logs all emails sent, this one works for me: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-logging/
Then you can see what emails are being sent. If they are not sent, then you will have to talk to your host. Can you post a URL of one of your location pages, and add your WP admin details too in a private reply.
I am not sure what you mean with “location subtitle”.
And there is only the one section to add a location description. -
