To permanently set redirection to closest location, you need to enable GeoLocation in GeoDirectory >> Advance Search.
See also https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/search-filters-overview/#redirect
I disabled GD Booster and that seemed to have fixed it, but there is still errors in the console.
I’ll get the developers to have a look at why the Booster is giving an error. It does not do that for me the add listing page, I cannot recreate that.
What browser are you using?Works fine for me now.
Make sure to clear any saved settings and caches: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/how-can-i-clear-geo-location-settings/Another suggestion is to create price packages for lakes and rivers separate, and then restrict some custom fields to the relevant categories. That way they cannot be added for that category and they will not show for that category.
Please review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-addons/ again, and especially check the paths and the names of the files.
The only file you have in /wp-content/languages is
/public_html/wp-content/languages/geodirectory/geodiradvancesearch-en_US-2.po1. That language file is not the Location Manager language file.
2. The Advanced Search file should be in this folder: /wp-content/languages/geodiradvancesearch/geodiradvancesearch-en_US.mo
3. You cannot use any other name than a valid PO or MO file, so you cannot add -2 to it.So use the core language file and the location manager file, and add them to the correct folder.
If that does not work, let us know.1. “You can even create listings without a physical location with the CPT addon” is correct. I am not sure anymore of the context of the other reply without checking the questions in that topic.
2. Not like that. A visitor can search by year and make and model, or year and model, or make etc, but not a progressive drill down as you describe. See more at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/
3. Normally yes. There might be some conflict, but not likely.
4. Not sure I understand.
Moderation settings for comments are at WP Settings > Discussion.5. Yes, you can select “dummy data” at GD > General > Dummy Data tab. That will populated categories as well.
6. Please review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#location
7. You can use ad management plugins for that, there is no plan to build our own.
Let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks
The sample file is to show you what content to add, the content needs to fit your website.
So in your case, the locations have to match your default location, so I guess that is the issue without seeing your CSV. Attach it here if you like.Which website are we talking about? In which folder?
I cannot find the Location Manager language file.
Please also upload the PO file, the MO file by itself cannot be checked.Review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-addons/ again, and make sure to upload to
/wp-content/languages/geodirlocation/geodirlocation-en_US.moIt works fine on my computer … ?
Can you check again? That issue only occurs because you activated the Claim Listing addon after you created listings.
Any new listing will be automatically set to claimed or not, as the listing is created.New FAQ added: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/claim-listing-link-not-showing/
Thanks
You need to change all your URLs from http to https.
You can do that with the Better Search Replace plugin. You’re welcome 🙂
