Once you activate a GD addon, you should get a new section at GD > Auto Updates.
Did you install and activate the GD core plugin first?
https://wordpress.org/plugins/geodirectory/If you’re still stuck, post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply and we will have a look at your settings. Thanks.
That URL is “Not Found”. Please check, thanks.
The Description for each category, the normal WP one, saves fine in my test site.
I checked your site, and it saves whatever I put in there.
Are we talking about the same thing? See image.I also got Paolo to have a look at the rest of your question.
Hi Mark, you can change that with the language file, but only generic for all CPTs.
Not quite ready yet, but not far away, you will get notification in your WP update section.
That could be for a number of reasons, put most likely you did not set your permalinks correctly, please review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#postnames
If you cannot fix it, post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply and we will have a check of your settings.
1. I think you might have some local caching issue, the frontpage looks like the new_page.gif to me.
2. You had asked to hide all Places on the map at GD > Design > Map > SHOW / HIDE POST TYPE AND CATEGORY ON MAP
I unticked that, so please check now.October 24, 2016 at 10:25 pm in reply to: "snap shot view" of recent updates to pages possible? #291179What I mean is another CPT for your posts as articles, and no longer use the normal WP posts to add articles, then you can use GDs widgets to show latest articles.
You should be using the GD Listings Map on CPT [Listings/categories] pages; the GD Home Map is only for GD Home [location] pages
You’re welcome 🙂
This reply has been marked as private.I updated your GD core plugin,
added a mapmarker to your category, and
changed your permalinks as per https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#postnamesIt looks like you moved the site from your local computer to your server without updating all URLs in the database.
https://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress#Changing_Your_Domain_Name_and_URLsYou can add widgets to the GD Header Right section to change the header, and adjust colors etc at Whoop Options > Header.
To change the sidebar on the homepage, add widgets to the GD Home sidebar section. -
