It seems you have some caching going on, but I cannot find it. Are you on a GoDaddy WordPress server?
OK, I have moved the CORE and EVENTS languages files to the correct location, you should be able to do the others.
For example the correct location for the events language files is /wp-content/languages/geodirevents, see image.
The correct locations are explained at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-addons/
Let us know how you go. Thanks.
Hi Andre, I had answered your email 2 days ago. I resent it again. Please check your spam maybe.
Let me know if you got it.June 29, 2016 at 10:27 pm in reply to: Split: Supreme Bugs: Detail Layout and Visual Composer Backend Incompatible #218709Supreme is already a child theme of the Directory Starter theme.
The Supreme documentation is here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/supreme-directory-overview/1. Where are you trying to enable a blog sidebar?
2. Look at the link I posted earlier. You probably need this CSS:
.featured-area::before {
opacity: 0;
}3. Have a look here to change the Site Title and Tagline:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/supreme-directory-overview/#homepage4. To remove the sidebar on the homepage, go to GD > Design > Home tab > UN-tick “Home right section”
5. Number of widgets in the footer can be adjusted in functions.php, I think. I’ll get Giri to look at that question.
Admin details would be very handy. Thanks.
Your FTP credentials do not work for me. Can you please check the username and password.
You need the Payments and Prices addon, and create a price package that is featured by default.
Visitors can then choose to have a featured listing by selecting a different package.
And admin can manually set a listing to featured in the backend then.Hi Sheridan, can you post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply, so I can check your settings.
What you are trying to achieve is done using the widgets: Appearance > widgets
You will need to adjust the GD Home Map widget settings and the Popular Post widget in the sidebar if I am understanding you correctly.June 28, 2016 at 10:03 pm in reply to: A few general questions about Multi-Locations: arbitrary locations, etc. #217768Chipping in: You can also use categories to organize your locations instead of tags as suggested by Paolo. That way you can create a pre-set list of “regions” and you can even add it to the Advanced Search widget as an additional search option.
Sorry to give you so many choices 🙂Thanks for letting us know.
June 28, 2016 at 9:51 pm in reply to: Split: Supreme Bugs: Detail Layout and Visual Composer Backend Incompatible #217762Hi Regina, I split your questions into a separate topic.
I don’t understand your question, because it seems you have both Supreme and GDF themes active, which normally is not possible, you can only have one theme at the same time.To adjust colors etc, some needs to be done with CSS, have a look here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/If you have any other questions, make sure to post a URL of the relevant pages so we can understand better. If you post your WP admin details in a private reply we can inspect your settings too if that is required.
Thanks.
Simplest is to mass delete from the admin backend.
Filter by date, and bulk delete.
You can set the number of listings to show per page to 200 or so in the screen options up the top.June 27, 2016 at 9:55 pm in reply to: [newbie] Multi-Location + Directory Starter, no "Change Location" menu item #217192Well done 🙂
For future reference:
* You need to set a menu in WP > Appearances > Menus
* Then in GD > design > navigation, you can add what GD links you want in the menu
* In GD > Multilocations, add the Location SwitcherThis reply has been marked as private.June 27, 2016 at 9:37 pm in reply to: [newbie] Multi-Location + Directory Starter, no "Change Location" menu item #217177Have you added your GD navigation to your menu?
