In the Pages section of your WP admin dashboard, you can change the title and the slug of the page. Nothing else can be changed there.
The easiest way I can think off is to use the translation file and change
* Indicates mandatory fieldsto something like
* Indicates mandatory fields<br/>My note to customershttps://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/ explains how to do that.
June 5, 2016 at 1:22 am in reply to: How can I show all listings on the map for each post type archive? #203572Not really, except for setting the number of posts per page higher than the listings in your categories. Then all listings in that category will show at the same time.
I guess you can change the language and terms used for the bank transfer settings to give users your details for a mobile money transfer.
I am not familiar with any page builders, but they are for WP pages. GD pages are not WP pages but are created with templates from the plugin.
You can use the theme styler for the theme, not for plugins like GD or any other.
For styling of plugins, have a look here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/To style a GD detail page (except for the header and footer because that comes from your theme) you can use filters or change the GD templates.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-geodirectory-templates/To insert maps on a WP page, you can use the GD Home Map shortcode:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/#locationmapIf you add a “landmark” using GD, it will automatically create a detail page and add a link from the map marker.
Once you have decided how to organize your site, we can give you some pointers how you can customize the landmark pages if you like, or you can post a job in the GD jobs section.
Hopefully I clarified things a little bit more.
Hi, that is not how WP works, each listing or post can only have one author.
It might be possible, but that would be a customization outside support.1. GD pages use the same background color as your theme, so if you change the theme’s background, then the GD pages background should change as well.
2. The ads code and widgets are from your theme, and I cannot see any active ad widgets. Please seek support from them.
This reply has been marked as private. So if I understand correctly, you want a page like this
https://wpgeo.directory/page/3/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&s=+&snear&sgd_placecategory%5B0%5D&sgeo_lat&sgeo_lon
to have a URL like this
https://wpgeo.directory/my-short-urlYou can do that with https://wordpress.org/plugins/redirection/
Just redirect
/my-short-url
to
/page/3/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&s=+&snear&sgd_placecategory%5B0%5D&sgeo_lat&sgeo_lon1) Yes, the Payments addon has a Bank Transfer option. See image
2) Yes see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/getting-translation-files/
You’re welcome 🙂

June 4, 2016 at 3:16 am in reply to: How can I show all listings on the map for each post type archive? #203120Listings (category) pages have never displayed all listings in a category or Custom Post Type (CPT).
That is only available for the Home (location) pages.
Listings pages show the number of listings set at WP Settings > Reading > number of posts per page.
You can display all listings in a category or Custom Post Type (CPT) using the filters available on the Home map.All maps zoom to display the listings called by the page, so that is why the “map is centered in odd ways”. And only location pages call all the listings for the location, category pages do not.
Hi Michele
If you setup the basic free level with the bare basics [no link, no images, no URL etc], then there is little incentive for submitting free listings unless the submitter does not own the business.
See also https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/claim-listings/The claims addon is for sites where the admins add listings, so the business owner can claim the listings.
Or for sites where any user can add a listing, whether they are the owner of the business or not, and then the actual business owner can claim the listing. If you never add listings yourself, and only have owner submitted listings, and your site does not rely on submissions from just anybody but only the business owner, then you do not need the claim addon. To charge for listings then can indeed just be done with the Payments addon.
I’ll make sure Paolo reads your post too.
Correct, well done 🙂
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#navigationI just checked the process explained at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/getting-translation-files/ and it should work.
