I cannot access the admin area, it keeps redirecting to the home page
I cannot replicate that, it all works fine for my on my test site.
Can we have a look at your settings? (url and wp admin details in a private reply please)I don’t think I understand. You cannot create any GD categories unless they are in a CPT.
So I am guessing you have a new CPT Cat Breeders, and categories for each breed.
GD organises all listings automatically based on the address, so there is no need for location based categories.
If you post your URL and admin details we can have a quick review and probably answer your questions better. You cannot set display in grid format for the location pages in GD > design.
You need to do that in Appearance > widgets > GD Home Content section. How are you adding the default value?
At GD > Place settings > custom fields > Time field > default value? We would need a URL too 🙂
You seem to be on a managed wordpress server, please review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/server-requirements/#wp
Do the Places dummy listings import?
If not, then most likely you haven’t set a default location yet.PS: only Places dummy listings are part of the GD core plugin.
You are not using /gd-home as your homepage, but /home
The map shows correctly at/location
I also removed the parent from the location page, GD pages should not have parent pages. You haven’t added a GD Home Map widget to any of the GD Home sections.
Well done 🙂 Good on ya, mate!
Probably something to do with the amount of packages and fields. I’ll get Stiofan to have a look again.
I cannot replicate that with Supreme 0.2.0.
Can we have URL and admin details to check please. Thanks. Can you describe the problem? I cannot see anything immediately wrong on your site. Thanks.
navigate to Cheshire, and then select shops, just like this page has all hotels in Illinois: http://wpgeo.directory/hotels/united-states/illinois/
Make sure you untick “Resize image large size” at GD > design > home tab.
Thumbnails will not work the listings pages because a visitor can choose different views, all of which have a different size of image size. Pre loading 5 different sizes would not be any better than just resizing on screen. Also, server space is conserved by storing one size only. -
