This reply has been marked as private. You need to install a theme as a theme, not a plugin.
A child theme needs a parent theme. For example install GD Framework and a GDF child theme, and then only activate the child theme.Have a look at example 2 at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#select
GD only works properly with Permalinks set as postname. Check out the documentation for basic installation at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#postnames
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/location-manager-shortcodes/
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/#ctp-cats
Both are WP pages with shortcodes linked above.
There’s something that doesn’t allow the right sidebar, maybe a theme setting.
I cannot look at it until after the weekend, I am interstate with restricted Internet access. That would require a customization.
Every listing needs to be at least in one category.
And category icons should be about 50 x 50 pixels. The path to the MO files is incorrect, have a look at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-addons/ for the correct location.
Post your URL, WP admin and FTP in a private reply, and we’ll check.
You added the wrong map widget to GD Listings Top section. You should add the GD Listings Map widget, not the GD Home Map widget.
Just delete all places and events, and the links will disappear.
Petshops is already in the dropdown: http://petadvisor.co.uk/
All your petshops are listed here: http://petadvisor.co.uk/pet_shops/I don’t quite understand your problem?
