I think you can’t disable ratings in Whoop. Let’s ask Giri.
Go to GD > general > general tab > disable ratings on comments
The settings are in the CPT categories widget.
You will have to add twice, there is no shortcut, except for this one:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/#tips1. Because they want to see all your listings.
2. That is why normally people add the location selector in the menu instead of on a separate page.
3. You can’t delete it. But you can choose not to link to them.
4. I am giving up trying to explain the difference between category pages and detail pages.
Last question: I am no SEO expert, I would think it does not matter.
Let’s start with your WP admin details so we can have a check. Please post them in a private reply.
I can see it in the sidebar of http://pearsource.com/author/pearsourceceoozzie/?geodir_dashbord=true&stype=gd_place
But you will need to add it to a different place as well, because you cannot get to that page without the widget.
If you have a CSV file of the WP posts then you can manipulate the data to make it match the requirements as outlined at the link I gave earlier.
1. Most people know why tick boxes exist.
All categories are listed under the map because you added the CPT categories widget there.
You can change the categories pre-selected on the map at GD > Design > Map > Select category to untick by default on map
Visitors can search for the title of a listing in the “title” search box. For example, go to http://www.supremecityguides.com/location/ and enter “bikini hostel” in the title search box and press enter.
1. If a visitor only is interested in nightlife, he can un-tick the categories on the map legend and only the nightlife will show. See image
2. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/common-styling-examples/#legend
1. Go to http://www.supremecityguides.com/location/
2. From the list of categories, go to “Places to Stay”.
3. You will go to http://www.supremecityguides.com/places/places_to-stay/
4. There are three listings there: this is a listings page also called a category page. It lists all listings in that category for that location.
5. Go back to http://www.supremecityguides.com/location/
6. Look for Miami Fashion Events.
7. See how it say there are 2 events (2)?
8. So what do you expect when you click?
9. A page with 2 events listed? Like the Places to Stay?
10. But if you click and go to http://www.supremecityguides.com/events/miami-fashion-events/ you do not see 2 events but only one.
11. That is because you are looking at the Miami Fashion Events detail page, ie the detail page for one listing only.
12. The category page that should show the list of events in that category is broken because you use the same slug as the category.
13. Change the slug (permalink) just a little bit at http://www.supremecityguides.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=158&action=edit and see the difference when you refresh your site.Every location has a page. That page knows what listings are in that location.
For example “everywhere” are quite a few listings, look at the categories listed at http://www.supremecityguides.com/location/
But in Bal Harbour are only a few listings, look at the categories listed at http://www.supremecityguides.com/location/united-states/florida/bal-harbour/If you do not want a page that lists all Miami Fashion Events once there are more than one, then it does not matter that the category page is broken. But you will have a duplicate page at
http://www.supremecityguides.com/events/miami-fashion-events/miami-fashion-events/
and
http://www.supremecityguides.com/events/miami-fashion-events/Not really. But you can use any theme, and there is not detail “page” anyway, that is a dynamically generated page.
See here for more: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/#directoryCan you please post FTP details as well, then we can have a proper look.
You can use the BP links: go to the WP menu setup, and add BP menu there.
Your BP registration does not seem to be set up correctly.GD uses custom posts for the listings.
You would set up a GD site and then import your listings, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/ -
