Just add this too:
#geodir-wrapper { max-width: 1200px; margin: auto; background: white; }Have a look at this article, it should help with finding the CSS code yourself:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/You’re welcome 🙂
Have a look here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/#tips
Permalinks were set incorrect: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#postnames
FIXEDAt GD > permalinks, the login page was set as the “Add listing” page instead of the login page.
FIXED.At Settings > Reading, “Add listing” was selected for your blog page.
FIXEDPlease check. Thanks.
It looks like your GD permalinks are set incorrectly at GD > Permalinks.
Or your settings are incorrect at WP > Reading: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#homeIf still stuck, post your WP admin details and we will have a check of your settings.
You do not need to use CPTs if you don’t want to, you can use categories and subcategories, see more at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/places-categories-and-listings/
Places is not a category but a custom post type [CPT].
I would need FTP to check your files, but uploading the PO file will not work.
You need to upload the MO file to the correct language folder.
See step 4 of the instructions.Sorry, but that is not possible.
The slider widget can also be used on non-GD pages, so you need to choose the post type in the widget. You need to change that with the translation file of the core plugin, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/
Recaptcha is for registration, not for login.
Or for commments etc if you do not require registration for comments.
WP admin is only for registered users so there is no need for recaptcha for that.Buddypress requires a username, GD does not.
With BP you can ask additional things too, and BP’s profile page allows for avatars etc.
So if using BP, BP registration is recommended. If you are Buddypress registration, then the GD registration options are obsolete.
If you turn off BP registration, you will see that gd-login gets a GD registration option too.The only way I see that possible is by linking to a search result page using the parameters you are after.
For example this search is filtered using a custom field: http://wpgeo.directory/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_hotel&s=+&snear=&sgeodir_petfriendly=1&sgeo_lat=&sgeo_lon=
So you can link direct to that URL and that page will always display all the required results.Add this to your CSS:
#geodir-wrapper { max-width: 1200px; margin: auto; }Most (if not all) issues like that can be solved with some styling usually.
You cannot filter by tags, sorry.
