It all works fine for me (I am near Brisbane) and I cannot see anything wrong with your settings.
Have a look here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/places-categories-and-listings/
CPTs are useful when:
* the custom fields are all different
* you want different pricing for the same level of listing
* you want some with addresses and some without addressesI personally think that less CPTs is less confusing and simpler for your visitors and users (it is easier to see them on the same map for example), and unless you have a reason to create a different CPT, it is simpler to keep to as few as possible.

The location page is the template for the locations like all city, region and country pages. It is also the page used for your directory homepage.Cannot find the payment manager option either, let’s ask Paolo.
I’ll prioritize the documentation for that, and will post back if there is anything to see.
Looks like you are figuring it out though 🙂1. Use the shortcode in a text widget: [gd_location_tab_switcher]
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/location-manager-shortcodes/2. I’ll get Paolo to answer that for you.
3. Add this to your CSS (change the color to suit):
.gd-location-switcher {background-color: red;}4. You need to set your GD permalink to one of the other options:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-permalinks/I think that is possible if you translate “United States” to “US: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/
And in your locations, use TX for Texas consistently. You might have to regularly review your locations when new ones are added by your users: Texas and TX will be treated as 2 different regions by the system.
That demo site does not use the GeoDirectory plugin, but the GeoTheme.
The GeoDirectory demo is here: http://wptry.it/try-geodirectory/I am not sure, but I think the advice would not have changed: You can only use option 4 if your site only covers one region or city, do not use if your directory covers more than one region and/or country.
So you might still be using multilocations but all in the same region.I’ll get Paolo to have a look at your question too.
You can change the “Frontend description” in the custom field to clarify the requirements to your users.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#commonYou can just drag the required featured image to the first position in the backend or the frontend.
You’re welcome 🙂
Hiding anything with a membership plugin depends on that plugin, you will have to seek assistance there. If you get stuck with something specific with GD, we might be able to assist.
For example, start with this to give you an idea: https://s2member.com/kb-article/how-do-i-protect-content-with-s2member/You can do that with a membership plugin like s2member or “paid memberships pro”.
To use another homepage than the GD Home page, you just create a normal WP page (with GD widgets or shortcodes if you like) and set that as the homepage at WP Settings > Reading.
