Ah, if all support was this easy 🙂
Thanks for letting us know.Welcome Chris
The easiest to hide all events is to de-activate the Events addon.
You will need at least one Custom Post Type, and the best option is to use the Places. You can just rename it to whatever you like at GD > Custom Post Types.
To remove things from the dashboard widget, go to GD > design > navigation > USER DASHBOARD POST TYPE NAVIGATION SETTINGS

September 26, 2015 at 11:10 pm in reply to: Before Review Section/New Tab/Says profile instead of details #54691You want to the “picture be bigger”. So I am asking: what picture do you want to use? URL of the image or upload here or whatever you mean. Or a screenshot explaining.
You had not selected Multi-news in the GD compatibility settings.
Please check now.September 26, 2015 at 11:01 pm in reply to: I can't see GeoDirectory > BuddyPress Integration #54689No need for any of them at all if you use GD-recaptcha.
Definitely do NOT use W3 total cache.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/known-issues/#w3cacheYou do not need Posts 2 Posts if you do not use GD lists.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/whoop-theme-overview/You cannot have a detail page to be your homepage.
You can set your site home page to be the GD home page (which you have done) and then set the default location to the city that listing is in, and turn off geo-location.
You could also add a popular post widget to your homepage that lists the event and then highlight it. You would have to narrow it down a bit by the settings and it might not work on other location pages.
The simplest might be to add a text widget and add your own content to that showing the details of the listing and linking it to the detail page.September 26, 2015 at 1:50 pm in reply to: Before Review Section/New Tab/Says profile instead of details #54627Do you want an image there that is linked to the tripadvisor URL, rather than the Icon and the Read Reviews link? So if you click on the image you go to tripadvisor?
If so, where’s the image please.September 26, 2015 at 7:37 am in reply to: Before Review Section/New Tab/Says profile instead of details #54605I added a tab to http://largefamilyaccommodation.com/accommodation/australia/victoria/hepburn-springs-1/sleeps12/little-auberge/#gd_tab_1
Have a look at your setting at GD > Accommodation settings > custom fields > 2 last ones

Yes, you do need lat and lng for the CSV to work: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/#batch
September 26, 2015 at 6:05 am in reply to: Before Review Section/New Tab/Says profile instead of details #545961. The link will be different for each listing I am guessing.
So you need to create a URL custom field.
That can only be added to the sidebar or one of the tabs, unless you use some customization.2. Please post URL and admin details and all details of the listing where you are trying to add a tab.
