1 – as marked
I couldn’t figure out what is the widget in the version 2 the provides exactly the same functionality for managing your listingsWe suggest you use UsersWP, which has its own login widget.
Then also use the GD Dashboard widget.2 – as marked
Popular categories widget – same story, couldn’t find it in version 2Called GD Categories widget now.
3.Categories overall look in version 1 looks like this and I like it
By default upgraded version looks like this:
Please take a look here:
https://allontario.ca/business-listings/
Is there a way to have the same look in version 2 as in version 1?You should be able to achieve that with your own custom CSS.
4. The old page before the upgrade had a /places URL
I had to use https://allontario.ca/business-listings/ for this one.
If I simply rename a permalink page to places, it just doesn’t work.
Any way to achieve it?See https://allontario.ca/places … ?
Places is your Archive/category page.
https://allontario.ca/business-listings/ is your Location page, like https://allontario.ca/business-listings/canada/ etcThanks

September 2, 2019 at 4:56 am in reply to: WP All Import & Ninja Form – Integration Questions #506022We can assist with GD problems, so if we need to have a look as to why your system is not sending inquiries to your users if they are submitted from their listing, then post your URL and WP admin in a private reply and we will have a look.
Thanks
September 2, 2019 at 4:51 am in reply to: Some custom fields not appearing in tabs on frontend #506019I could not find it either, I am not familiar with page builders.
But it does not come from the GD code, so that is why I am assuming it comes from the coding added by the page builder.
I’ll alert some other support to your issue, they may understand page builders better, or you could reach out to the page builder developer. Thanks
You can create as many packages as you like, but I replied based on your comment that “it shall be difficult to create packages for each such combination”.
Thanks
I said to export the listings so you can see the correct format. I did not say to use any template. I guess when you say “template” you mean the sample CSV. That is just a sample, not a template to be used. You should use the export function.
“Having said that, possibly you have added double shortcodes to some templates, or added different shortcodes that do partially the same thing.” This statement you made is just a guess, did you bother to look for a solution or to see if your guess was correct?
I cannot provide a solution if I do not know where to see the problem.
Now that you have told me it is on the search page, I can see the reason is like I guessed, you added different shortcodes that do partially the same thing. I have deleted the second paragraph in the GD Archive Item template, meaning I deleted[gd_post_content key='post_content' limit='60' max_height='120']Thanks
The solution is at https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/add-city-name-to-listing-page/page/2/#post-505987
You can’t change how a database is organized by importing a CSV file, you need to use the correct format that the database expects. You do that by exporting from the database.
Export your current listings and compare the order and names of the columns with the CSV file you are trying to import.
Order and names must be identical, but your files setout do not match. Thanks

We recommend WP Super Cache for V2: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/performance/#cache
Please check now, Thanks
Please give us a link or a ZIP file of the CSV file so we can check the file. Do NOT use MS Excel, it will corrupt the data.
Only use LibreOffice or OpenOffice.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/import-export/Create one listing in the backend with complete data.
Then export, so you will have the correct file setup.Imported listings with errors will often not show on the front until the errors are corrected.
I cannot see that double paragraph, always give URLs so we do not have to guess where we need to look.
Having said that, possibly you have added double shortcodes to some templates, or added different shortcodes that do partially the same thing.Updating with the same ID should work if you use the correct setting, see image. If it does not work, it often is because the post ID looks like the post ID, but excel has injected additional data that is breaking the import.
We recommend WP Super Cache: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/performance/#cache
Thanks
September 1, 2019 at 11:40 pm in reply to: Some custom fields not appearing in tabs on frontend #505983The info is all there, but you have set that tab to NOT display, see images. I guess you have done that using your page builder.
ThanksPlease check now.

This gives only two fields. How do I add mobile/phone?
That will require full registration then, or add a custom field to the Add Listing form itself.
If I understand correctly now, you will need to create a form that allows you to collect the user data, if it is not possible to collect them using custom fields.
Then you can create your own listing from that.
And use Invoicing items to create the invoices, instead of using GD packages. Thanks
That message comes from your “WP Multi Store Locator Free” plugin.
If you are not using that plugin it may be better to turn it off, using more than one plugin that uses Google maps often results in conflicts.
Make sure to follow the links at GD > Settings > General, see image.
You may have to create a new key using those links to make sure the key is valid for all the different APIs.https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/google/
Thanks
