To add listings to more than one city, you need to use the MultiLocation addon:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/addons/multilocation/I changed the width of the content section to 54% at GD > design > home for you.
Your child theme’s style.css is not referring to the GDF theme.
You have copied the style.css header from the framework, instead of using the header from the child theme.
Questo tema è corrotto. Template mancante.
That is why some of you CSS is not working properly, like the breadcrumbs. You are breaking the connection to the framework’s styling etc.You have a number of duplicated cities like Ravenna at
http://www.baltazar.it/geodirectory/wp-admin/admin.php?page=geodirectory&tab=managelocation_fields&subtab=geodir_location_managerAlso best idea is to tidy up the “All” cities.
I now also see you have two Italia’s in SEO settings, and your drop down menu if you add a new location in the backend.
Can you post your FTP and phpMyadmin details so we can have a look at your database and files.
Have you added it to your advanced search?
Then you should be able to figure out the URL of that filter.
Then add the URL to your menu.URL and WP admin details would be useful (in a private message).
Then I could give you better details.David, the default search searches by CPT, not categories. That cannot be changed.
You can change a user to be an author, and then change the owner of the listing, and then change the user back to a subscriber.
At WP > Settings > general you are able to set all new users to have an author role if that is what you want. But make sure you do not give them any privileges you don’t want to give to them, make sure to test.If they cannot find the business owner button, and you want them to submit as owners, you will need to activate the Claim listing addon.
Hi David, it is not possible to just assign a listing to another CPT.
All you can do is submit another listing in the correct CPT.Are your CPTs so closely related that it does make some sense for the users to add them to another CPT? In that case you might be better of to have categories in a CPT instead of different CPTs.
Is it clear that there are different options?
You might be able to filter them better by sending them to a custom page before they choose the “add listing” form, see image below for an example. They are featured because your price package is set for listings to be featured.
PS: Agree with Simone, although doubt that changing in the database will work. Even if the name of the categories are the same, they would have different IDs and I guess you would be breaking a number of relationships like tags and categories.
That’s what I meant: Set the map width in the GD Map [widget in the] Home Section to 100%.
Sorry for my shorthand, and good to see you fixed it 🙂Hi Albert
Set the map width in the GD Map Home Section to 100%.
Let us know how you went.Try adding this to style.css of GDF Modern:
#breadcrumb-wrapper {clear:both}I have put the duplicate breadcrumb issue on the reminder list.
Can you give us a URL please?
February 21, 2015 at 8:01 am in reply to: Fix for bad paragraph code in listing-listview.php template #31595Can you send us a URL of a page where that error shows in the source code?
I cannot quite confirm the problem.February 21, 2015 at 7:52 am in reply to: widget-listing-listview.php Not Used in Child Theme + Cutting off of words #31593I confirm that the first issue indeed seems to be a problem still, and added it back on the to do list.
I’ll flag your second issue for Paolo to have a look at.
EDIT: On the listings pages, the excerpt is exactly like you suggest, it finishes with a word and then … before adding the “read more” link.Have you added the GD map widgets to the correct GD templates? (not needed for detail pages).
If you post URLs we are able to assist better.
Do you mean on a detail page (page where a single listing is displayed)?Post your admin details if you cannot solve it (in a private message), and be clear what page you have trouble with.
No, there isn’t. I think it should be able to be built, because GD knows how to not publish an unpaid listing. Sounds like a feature request, if you think it is worth it.
Yes and yes 🙂
The “published” notification probably should be called “submission” notification. I guess it allows you to contact the user and check whether they need help with the payment system. -
