If you are using the Custom Post Type addon, you can rename “Add place” to “Add Restaurant” at GD > Custom Post Types > Places (or Restaurants).

A detail page uses the name of the listing as the title, so it is not the same as the Add Listing page.
Can you clarify?What are your settings at GD > Advanced Search > geolocation settings?

To allow users to submit listings from any location:
GD > Multilocation > Settings > enable multi countries, multi regions and multi cities.
